Very nice Indian food in a lovely rooftop location. Friendly staff and entertainment as you eat. Hot curry if you want it!

Felt like a change from the usual Gambian fair fish!, so we popped along to this little place what a pleasant supprise, we sat on the balcony and watched the world go by, our food came out all freshly cooked and plenty of it, yes very nice indeed.

We had a very good meal here during a quiet period when business was slow (following political crisis and tourist evacuation)I had a very delicious Himalayan Balti and my husband enjoyed his Lamb Rogan Josh. Great service and extra rice provided free of charge on request.

Excellent food, very authentic and good service. Pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. Well worth a visit if you are a curry fan. Avoid the chopped chillies served with poppadoms unless you like scotch bonnets. Nearly blew my head off.

I visited this restaurant while on holiday in The Gambia. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We were promptly served drinks and our orders taken. We were soon brought poppadoms with a selection of dips...on of which literally blew your head off (so be careful)!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced and we were left to chat without any... More

Nice balcony overlooking the square. It can be noisy as there's hustle & bustle down below, and if the petrol based generator kicks in, you'll regret sitting upstairs. The food is good and although the curries come in smaller bowls than in the UK, they're good quality and therefore filling. Unlike most of Gambia, service is quite fast and well... More

I sat upstairs overlooking the market to watch the world below, nice atmosphere sitting in the warm evening air. The food was average, Didn't have anything that I really thought was outstanding, or anything bad either. The food was fairly tasty, though have eaten in far better Indian restaurants in the Gambia before. The staff were friendly, though one in... More

If you like very HOT!!! Indian food, this is the place for you. We like ours fairly hot, but this was so hot that we could not eat it!! To the restaurants credit, they did say they would re-make it milder for us, but by then we had gone off the idea of eating!!!!

The food continues to be excellent but it's become a bit pricey compared to other eating options in the area. Curries are between 325-475 but you have to add 150 for rice too. That's UK prices and a side dish of potato aloo at 250 is well over the top. Beers are cheap but it's no wonder this restaurant isn't... More
