The worst meal that I have had. Pity that the island is beautiful it deserves a better place to eat than this. Maybe there other places on the island

After spending a couple of weeks on the island it is nice to go to Lucas for some grilled squid or prawns. Starting off of course with a Caipirinha (lime/lemon, ice, sugar and Cachaca). Very friendly waiters, nice food and hopefully some beers available.

We had the seafood platter. Fantastic prawns, Crayfish, fish and muscles. The atmosphere is quiet, and friendly

Stopped in for an early dinner. Very friendly service. Not gourmet, but hey, this is an island off of the Mozambican coast with limited accessibility. Food was good value for money and tasty. Vino verde (green wine) and fresh seafood is always a winner!

I visited the island with my sister. We loved the vibe of this small unpretentious place. The food was fresh and very tasty and the staff were friendly. The selection involves local delights. A must whilst on Inhaca island.

Definitely worth a visit , we travelled by boat from Camp Carlos +- 12 km After reaching Inhaca Hotel you walk through the local villages without a hitch . On arrival we were welcomed by the staff. Very professional given the location , beers cold , food first class and the price reasonable !! Lucas has maintained a high Standard... More

Food was good but took a long time to recieve. We only had 3 hours between arriving and catching the ferry back to Maputo. We spent 1 hour waiting for lunch Very quiet and only two other groups on the ferry so maybe not expecting customers for food and nothing prepared prior. Service was painfully slow by a waitress out... More

I had a memorable meal at the restaurant together with my family (grilled king size prawns and crab curry). We chose the menu previously and we agreed the lunch time - although time at Inhaca Island doesn't really matter... The meal was really superb. I got to know that the chef, Mr. Lucas, had already worked on great places, like... More

The service was good and the food freshly prepared. The food was not hot when we got it as it had cooled down already. I steak was not done to order. Both my wife and I order medium rare, but the tenderised steak we got was so thin that one could not make it medium rare. Anyhow the rest of... More
