The food is always great. I had two braised pork chop with strings beans and mash potatoes. The sauce on the pork chop was out of this world.

We stopped here during our car clubs drive and everything was great. The variety of food was nice, and the service was great. It seemed just minutes after placing our orders the food was out. I had the fish Sammy sandwich, a couple of the people combined their sandwiches with a cup of the Chile con Carne that they said... More

This has become our standard place to eat a meal at the end of our climbing/hiking trips to this part of the Adirondacks. The food is always good, the servings generous, the staff friendly. Do make reservations, as these folks are not only very good, but about the only option in town for good sit-down dinners.

We live in Indian Lake and always enjoy our meals at this local restaurant. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating if you need to adjust set menu items. Dinners are delicious- especially the meatloaf and fish and chips. Salmon is always tasty and prepared nicely. Soups and salads are often my favorites.Desserts are often homemade and quite good. Good... More

It was a little scary with a sign on the door that said no knives or guns and a sort of dark bar, but the restaurant was very good. Had a french dip and local beer and both were excellent and my wife enjoyed her lunch too.

I took 4 of my grandchildren for a Columbus Day week-end to Indian Lake. There are not very many places to eat in this area. We found this and we had an excellent meal here. There is a tavern in the front and I was a little leary of taking kids in a place like that, but the restaurant is... More

Everyone was wonderful and very accommodating! We stopped in late in the evening after hiking nearby Blue Mountain. We were exhausted and thought better then to go back to camp and try and whip up food late with little children. Between our friends and us we had 4 tired children ages 4 and under and two sets of very tired... More

From the outside you'd never expect the fine selection of gourmet food in a little mountain restaurant. Wow! The four of us each loved the meals we were served. My husband said the meatloaf was the best he has every had. I ordered the special: salmon served with crabmeat (very good). A diamond in the mountains!

We took a day trip to the adirondacks to look at the fall leaves. I told the person I was with I haven't been up here since I was a kid. We ran across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly, the service was pretty quick, there were quite a few people there. The... More
