Not your typical sub joint. Gorgers is on the far side of the Ithaca Commons (far side from the universities). Not much on decor. Small - just a handful of tables for eating in. Large selection of subs. Unique subs, not just your basic turkey, Italian, or meatball. Subs with steak, pulled pork, chicken, vegan, and with unusual sauces that... More

Some members of my family LOVE Gorgers; I just like it. It's a small storefront that looks even smaller inside. There are four or five tables on one side, and a counter and kitchen area on the other. They don't clean off the tables, so if you eat in, be prepared to clean your own. They make to order from... More

We were in Ithaca for my sons football game and were looking for a good lunch. I saw it got good reviews on trip advisor so we decided to give it a try. My husband got the Philadelphia cheese steak and I swear it weighed 5 pounds. My son got a blt and I got the hummus flat bread. Our... More

We walked the Commons area in Ithaca and were looking for a lunch spot. Our car was parked next to the State Theater so we looked in this area. Gorgers had the best menu to satisfy a diversity of food preferences. The eating area is small with 6-8 tables and counter space for 6. Counter space was our only choice... More

We went here for a quick lunch on our way out of town and were happy that we did. They have TONS of options for cheesesteak style sandwiches served on the house made rolls. The staff was friendly, the sandwich enormous and the hand cut fries were perfect. This is a great little college town place and as such not... More

asked for a cheese sub - lettuce, tomato, cheese, mustard, mayo, dressing. dude gave me a sub with NO CHEESE. I said - where's the cheese? he said - it's a sauce. I said - can you give me some actual cheese? he said, ok, here is a coffee cup with some actual cheese, you can put it on yourself.... More

Don't make the same mistake I did, A sandwich feeds two. Had the pork sandwich was excellent. Also tasted the steak sandwich was amazing. Had them wrap the other half and enjoyed it for lunch the next day. They make there own fresh bread and juices. Go there.

Stopped here with my family and everyone enjoyed their meals. The fries were delicious!! It was fun to watch the employees hand cut the fries. The restaurant is small but we were lucky to find a table for 4.

It is a different kind of sub shop. The menu seems a little bit intimidating as there is a great variety to choose from. However, most of the choices a re variations of chicken, pork, steak and vegetarian. The meat subs are quite stuffed with meat so for the price I thought it was a decent value. Taste wise I... More
