Blundered upon this gem while touring Saratoga. Cool little Tap Room with appetizer menu plus regular dining room. TV is limited to the former. Food was quite good and service very professional. Prices were quite reasonable. Surprisingly diverse menu: I wanted to try multiple items. Quaint decor in a cozy room. Recommended.

Have had lunch here several times over the last few years with our group of retired former co-workers (a group of 6-8). No matter what we've each ordered, we've always all been very happy with our meals. The service is very friendly and the food is always delicious. Sizable portions and very reasonable prices, too. Will be returning again &... More

Five tired family members were looking for dinner, when we found this place online. We called to book and got there in no time at all. The service was very attentive. We arrived a little early and we're given a seat near the bar, where there were cheese and olives waiting. When we got to our seats, we received a... More

Even if I hadn't ever eaten here I could tell you it's a successful eatery as I live a block away and the parking lot is full everyday for lunch and dinner. Their bread with oil and garlic is out of this world. I've been there with just two as well as my entire family and service is always impeccable.... More

Took one hour for our dinner to come out. Table next to ours that was seated 20 minutes after us got their food before us. When the food came out mine was cold, my wife and daughters was luke warm. Asked to see the manager. Waited 15 minutes and he never came over so we left. PS, we paid 13.95... More

We had a Cousin's Reunion at The Ripe Tomatoe on Saturday. The place is so inviting and quaint. Like a real roadside cafe. It is located on 9N on the way to Saratoga. So easy to get to. The food and drinks were excellent. We will certainly return next time we are in the area.

My friend and I were staying in the Malta area and read the great reviews and decided to eat here. The food was delicious and the place was really quaint (the type of place I miss living in NYC) . The cedar planked salmon and toll house cookie pie were delicious! We told our server where we were staying in... More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Ripe Tomato. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the food was delicious. We sat at the bar as there was a short wait for a table and we prefer the interaction at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful. We shared a bowl of the specialty Scallop and Shrimp... This restaurant exceeded our expectations. It had great ambiance and amiable, efficient service. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, so we brought plenty home. We particularly liked the fish and eggplant parmigiana with pasta. The restaurant was almost full even on Tuesday evening which speaks to its popularity.

We ate here on a Sunday night in August and were seated right away. My husband ordered Pork Schnitzel and I ordered Chicken Picatta and both dishes were excellent. The portions were more than we could eat. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant except that I was seated on a bench next to a large motor that was... More
