I get it to go..Its pretty consistently good.Sometimes they get a little backed up and it might be a little more expensive, but i have better meals there so it's worth it.
We've been going here for years. It is the first placeh we eat when we return from Florida each year. The food is always great. They have a great happy hour for sushi and drinks--it doesnt include the Scorpion Bowl, but thats what we come for. The sushi is delicious and we love the location, right near the train.
This is my daughter's favorite Japanese restaurant. They love the sushi and Nabayaki Udon. Everything is made fresh. We've never gotten anything we didn't like here. NAND the service is excellent, too!
Minami's is head and shoulders above most Japanese eateries on the Island & in the City. The sushi is fresh, artfully prepared and served by the most gracious wait staff you are likely to encounter in any restaurant. The cooked dishes are equally expertly prepared with options such as filet mingnon beef teriaki, fresh seafood (try the snapper fish katsu)... More
My wife and I have been to Minami many times. Their sushi is top notch. Service is excellent. The entire restaurant has been re-modeled. It has a new modern appearance with plenty of tables and a sushi bar. They also have excellent take out if you don't have time for the whole dining experience. Try it, you'll like it.
Coming since it opened and was at the previous incarnation, Wokkers. Sushi is very good but try the Kashawasakani. It's stir fried veggies and chicken with peppers. House made up dish so no translation but my favorite.
