Best noodles in upstate NY. Subtle flavors, lots of variety, filling. Watch for occasional cultural events, including live music.

Staff were very patient in helping me narrow down what to try, since I'd never been there before, was unfamiliar with the food. I needed protein, something healthy and restorative. I was not disappointed.

Food was ok-ordered steamed dumplings and the udon dishes and both were fresh and decent. The 2 guys working this night (Dec. 23) couldn't get it together. Waited forever while the server kept skimming foam off our beer glasses because the keg was dying. Finally...More

We ate here recently with our 11 year old daughters. The brown rice and salmon, and the dumplings and rice came with miso soup, and were both great. The steamed buns were also as good as I've had anywhere. The owners were very welcoming. A...More

Wonderful dining experience. The quality is in the ingredients and the attention to detail is not overlooked! Plenty of vegetarian options mean that I will certainly be returning to Gomen Kudasai again and again.
