We didn't expect a great deal from this place since there's very few other places to eat near by. But the food was fantastic, the atmosphere really nice and the staff are warm, friendly and attentive. There's a real family feel to the place. We had grilled goats cheese with salad to start, and then kid (young goat) stew with... More

Lovely, friendly service from the owner and his staff, and great food. The grilled calamari starter was probably the best calamari I've ever had - a million miles from the white rubber stuff you normally get. You could go because supporting locally-owned businesses is an important way of offsetting the terrible impact of all-inclusive on the local economy, or you... More

We have been taken here by our guide for lunch and we have loved the warmness of the place and staff. We have ordered three types of grilled fish: tuna, wahoo & garoupa with the traditional sides: fries, boiled potatoes, salad and rice. The dishes have been served family style to share which we absolutely loved! Highly recommended! Count for... More

We had a nice seafood dinner at their place and the restaurant really gives you the feeling of being in somebodys home. Its very simple and you're served by very kind and helpful cape verdian people. The food was good and the service was excellent!

We took a taxi from Hotell Parque das Dunas, 7 euro one way, and the 5 min trip was worth it. We had the grilled goat cheese for starters, a bottle of the local wine Cha Fogo and the grilled fish Garoupa for main course. The same fish that is painted on the wall of the restaurant. Very nice. Specially... More

We came as a large group and the food was excellent. Had the cordon bleu chicken which was lovely and it came with salad, proper chips and rice. The plates come with a little decoration of vegetables cut into various shapes (stars, flowers etc) and there was more than enough food - more chips and rice were brought out as... More

The restaurant is spotlessly clean, food very good, freshly cooked, good quality. Very warm welcome, chef offered to show us the kitchen. Excellent value for money.

If you spending more that 5 days on Boa Vista, it's a must to rent a truck (what else?) and to drive inlands. You can't miss Rabil, former capital city. Very friendly patron is keen to explain his life path, his chef's experience and local ways of preparing food...which is excellent , btw! Drink 'vino branko do CHA' and feel... More

Excellent food well presented. Where the locals also eat. It is worth travelling to Rabil for this amazing food. Reasonably priced.

The food here was much superior to the big Riu. And theres no fighting over tables and queuing. Two large lobsters for about 20E excellent value for money.
