Sublime dinner with fresh seafood and lobster! My mother asked the waiter for the seafood sauce and because of the language barrier the waiter took my mom and me to see the chef! The chef talked to us quite cheerfully and successfully got us the kind of sauce our tongue was accustomed to! Perfect view of sunset! Highly recommend you... More

I loved Taverna Katina. Hidden at the bottom of the cliffs of Oia, this Taverna is down home authentic Greek. The grandma(probably Katina herself) is sitting at her own table watching the crowds and hanging out while waiters server you your meal along the waterfront. You feel like it's just been caught moments earlier. The Lobster linguine was why we... More

It is better to get a reservasion in advance. You get a chanse to pick up the fish you like yourself. The prices are nt cheap, but everthing is very tasty.

Had the lobster spaghetti here which was pretty good, though quite expensive. The lobster was probably a little overcooked but the spaghetti was exquisite, cooked el dente with plenty of flavour. The spaghetti took a while to come out but the staff were very friendly and even gave us a little bottle of olive oil to take home which was... More

Worth the walk down from Oia. Pick the fish you want from the display. We did not have a reservation and simply walked in and got a seat. There was a bottle of wine on our table 30 seconds after we sat down.

We ended up here after booking the Sunset Restaurant who sadly we walked out of due to their poor service. We were greeted by friendly staff who provided excellent service, our meal was very basic but incredibly fresh We had Red Snapper which we were able to pick fresh, the fish was easily large enough for 4 small meals and... Our family of 5, trek down to Ammoudi Bay from Oia to swim, cliff jump and watch the sunset at sea level. In all counts we were not disappointed. We reserved a table in Taverna Katina for sunset dinner. We ordered fried calamari as starter and drinks, very satisfying especially after all the swimming and cliff jumping... What was not... More

Worth the walk down the steps to Amoudi Bay, and the walk back up! Amazing fresh seafood, incredible location and great staff. Also very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and a great choice of local beers. Would recommend the very highly
