Came in to have dinner at around 5. It was pretty empty. The staff is friendly, however they did not know what the specials were and even after we told them what they were said they were not available. 10 minutes later came back and...said that it was. Made my dad very happy and he said it was very good my daughter had mac and shrimp while I had hamburger. The view of the lake is quite nice. Food was good but the restaurant on a whole is desperate need of repairs. I have heard there is usually music but we were there to early. Will go back and hope that some improvements have been made as that would add to a better dining experience.More

We usually go to the place across the lake but decided to try I Go Inn. What a pleasant surprise. The staff and manager were amazing. They happily handled a number of special requests from our table of 6. The food was excellent and the...portions were very very generous. Tip...try the steak sandwich or the seafood salad. What a great vibe the place has too. There's a reason this place will have been in business 100 years come 2020.More

While near the Great Sacandaga Lake, if you're looking for a quick bite or beverage, the I-Go-Inn should be on your list of places to check out! Highly recommend their ENORMOUS frozen (adult) beverage and the nacho platter. Prices are reasonable on their entire menu....Seems like they offer everything from sandwiches to burgers to appetizers to full dinners. I usually order quick bites/appetizers.More

My wife and I finally took at trip here from johnstown and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was quite well, tasty and polite wait staff. The drinks were delicious but a bid pricy and not very much alcohol. It must say though the food was...reasonable and my wife also loved her meal. We will be back with friends to enjoy the beautiful views, good food a great service. I will pass on the good food and hopefully they will a big more to their drinks to kick up the enjoyment.More

Went here by boat with friends on a Friday night. Building looks small but there’s actually quite a bit of room between the inside and the patio area. We were seated pretty quickly and our drink order taken immediately. We ordered frozen drinks which were...HUGE - I mean biggest I’ve ever seen. They are $13 which isn’t bad BUT they are practically non-alcoholic. I don’t even know if there’s one shot in the whole thing. Menu is big and has something for everything. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable- especially for a lakeside restaurant. Wait was a little long but that’s to be expected given it was a Friday night in the middle of summer. Views are beautiful and it’s very relaxing to sit out on the deck. If going by boat, beware because the docks are very rickety and the boards you tie up to are loose and some are even broken. Will 100% be going back!!More

We came here by boat on the Great Sacndaga Lake. Although there is ample parking, the docks are located in an area of the lake that can be very rough on a windy day. It was very difficult to dock and exit the boat, as...well as secure it safely to the dock. The whole docm was pitching up a down at least 2 feet. The food was good, but not exceptional, we had fish and chips. Service was fairly good. We ate outside on the open deck at about 5:00PM. The sun was inescapable, but overall it was quite pleasant. Pricing was on parr with this type kf lakefront restraunt.More

This is a great spot on the lake. There are so many things that could be better. The good is the view, always has music, prices are reasonable for the spot. The bad, service is horrible. Bunch of kids working who don't have a clue...how to wait on people. Long waits for service and to get your food so plan accordingly. Place needs to be cleaned and remodeled. Sat in a chair and it fell completely a part. Owner offered us a drink and never followed through. Food is inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes not cooked as ordered. On line menu is not accurate. Tried ordering food from the dock, twice with two different menu items we saw on line and both times were told we don't have that anymore even though it was on their menu. Plenty of missed opportunities here for a place that could be awesome.More

If you are driving or boating by you have to stop. There are docks for the boaters to tie up for drinks, or eats. Great friendly staff. Try the outside deck for dinner and watch the sunset.

Go by boat right around sunset. Order a frozen drink of your liking, strawberry daiquiri is my favorite. Enjoy the sunset and your drink. The music is nice on the patio also. I would not recommend any of the food. The burgers look good, but...I haven't tried one yet.More

Was dying to try the place. Long wait and no where to really hang out. Gross inside and bar smelled like I was back in college. Fancy mixed drinks were great once I could get someone at the bar to wait on me! Ordered clams...and they waited 20 minutes after we ordered to come and tell me they were all out. Had to order something else and wasn't pleased. Sat on the patio where waitress dropped dirty silverware on me off plates she was clearing. Band was so loud you couldn't even talk.More

An old rickety tavern type restaurant with a nice view of sacandaga lake. The service was friendly but inefficient(ordered nachos as an app, brought them after we reminded them ,after dinner)Ended up in a to'go container. The burgers were excellent according to my party who that had...them.I ordered the fish n chips. The fish was mush inside a too hard crust.Prices were ok but high for the type of place it is..More

With the decor and music you would never know you were in update New York with this tiki bar themed deck. Food was good and the portion sizes were huge. Right on the water made it a fantastic stop.

Had a truly good and very large chicken wrap with a salad and iced tea overlooking the Sacandaga Lake on the outdoor patio. This place has drink specials they are always pushing since it's known for them, apparently. As I was driving, couldn't go for...any but they sure looked great! And huge margaritas! Live music from Thursday nights thru Sunday afternoons with all different genres represented. Looks like a hole in the wall when you drive into parking lot, with not much better decor inside. The covered tarped deck makes it all worth it with a great view of the lake. Very relaxing. Lake prices but the food was more than good and ample.More
