Some friends brought us here to eat dinner while we were visiting them over the weekend. They said it was their favorite restaurant in town. We have to agree. The food was amazing! I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was probably the best I ever had! It was cooked perfectly, as were the two NY strip steaks and the veal the rest of the table ordered. Go hungry – our meals included soup and salad and was large portions. The seafood chowder was enjoyed by everyone who had it, and the stuffed pepper soup was good as well. The salads had homemade dressings, and the Hazel (horseradish) one was great. The prices were also a really good deal. We’d definitely come back here again! 2020 Coronavirus notes: There were a couple outdoor tables, but since they were in the evening sun we decided to eat inside where it was cooler. They said the outdoor tables are first come, first served, and can’t be reserved ahead of time. The dining room was open at 50% capacity. We all felt safe eating here. The staff were all wearing masks. We wore our going inside, and going to the bathroom but not at the table. We did try to put ours on when the servers were at our table as a courtesy (they didn’t ask us to). Our server did tell us that we wouldn’t be able to have any alcoholic drinks we ordered until there was food on our table, per state regulations, so we split the fried cheese appetizer and it was out quickly with the drinks.

My wife and I first visited the Timeless Tavern last Fall. We sat at the bar on a Thursday and were welcomed by the locals, and treated to an excellent meal. We returned a few times this year, under the COVID 19 restrictions, and were still impressed with the excellent menu and atmosphere. The last time there, we treated our friends to a diner for their recent birthdays. They are both excellent cooks in their own rite and not the easiest people to please. We all enjoyed excellent meals, drinks and atmosphere. Our friends complimented the restaurant as "the best in the region" and thankfully enjoyed it as much or more than my wife and I had on our first three visits. We look forward to many more special occasions, or just hanging out, and enjoying excellent food and an upbeat atmosphere. thanks, Joe and Kathy

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on our way home after a long day of appointments and shopping. We were so happy that it was open on a Tuesday evening. We both ordered the Veal Francaise @ $24.99. Our meal included a soup,a salad, and warm bread. The entree was served with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Everything was delicious. Karissa, our server was friendly, and provided excellent service (arguably the best we have had in a long time)

Warmly greeted by host & waitress on a busy Sat evening. Soup & salad included with entrees, which is a bonus. Homemade soup was YUM! Homemade cucumber dill dressing on salad also tasty. Chicken piccata was good. Menu is extensive with steak, seafood, veggie options. Service was friendly & efficient. Mediterranean pasta is great portion size & full of veggies.

Our breakfast mates (locals) recommended Timeless Tavern. We are glad they did. They said eat at the bar. We did. Bar tendress was superb. After drinks we had 1 dozen grilled clams in garlic. Perfect for 2. Main course i had prime rib my partner had NY strip. Both were huge portions. We took some home. Yum. Service was attentive. Meals were served in a timely manner. Talked with locals at the bar. 3 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 specials tax & tip $156. Would we go again? Definitely. Lots of good items on the menu.

Been to the restaurant many times and always enjoy it. First time staying at the inn and it was a let down. Small room, clean and tidy but lacking essentials, not even a chair. The steep, narrow stairs were a real problem for me with balance issues. No directions for wifi or TV. I hit a wrong button and spent a half hour getting it back. Directions on the dresser would be an easy fix. Needed toilet paper and no one to contact until late in the day. How about an extra roll? Coffee maker did not work.

We were traveling during Covid 2 - Jan 22, and not much was open anywhere. Timeless was it for Northville. It is a well lit, clean restaurant with excellent service. The food was good, not excellent, but hearty and good.

My first visit and I was impressed. The tastes were exceptional. An adequate menu and we all loved our entrees. Service was good. They were busy but things moved well. My family visits regularly and I hope to be back when in the area.

Lovely little place for drinks. They accommodated us as a group of 11. Drinks are fairly cheap. Staff were really polite and helpful.

You need to make a reservation, even off season. It is popular. I got the watermelon feta salad because I was trying to watch my weight, but ended up having a some of the warm bread that came with the meal. My friend had veal dish that fell off the bone, They had table cloths on the table which I like. Waitress was wonderful. Great menu choices.

Average food with average service at an average restaurant. Decor is interesting. There was a waitress who spoke so loudly that I was relieved when dinner was over. Options are VERY limited in this town.

Food was great, in the middle of dinner, our waitress left. We had to ask another waitress where our waitress was. Then we were enjoying our coffee and had finished dessert, a man walked over and asked us to leave cause they needed the table.

A tavern that includes an extensive dining room area, this restaurant is in the center of town and seemed to be a favorite with the locals. The tavern area was full with dinner patrons (a Saturday) but the formal section was relatively open and was populated by mostly family oriented groups. Prices were very reasonable and the food was acceptable average restaurant fare. I had the duck which was a bit over-cooked and sparsely coated with a raspberry glaze. Liquor and beer selections were abundant and we were not offered a wine list. The house Chardonnay my wife had left a lot to be desired but that can be a matter of personal taste. It was the only Chardonnay offering. If the Timeless were local to us I am sure we would go periodically, but when traveling and looking for a dinner experience this would not be on our list. Our waitress, Courtney, was friendly and attentive.

Reservation are a must...and when you get here, you'll know why. Start with the Stuffed Mushrooms, get a dozen Steamers and a slab of perfectly cooked meat,. OMG! Waitress Courtney was very attentive while the Rotary Club held a dinner meeting in the adjoining room. Will definitely go back.

I was in town for the first time for their inaugural half-marathon. Chose to eat here for the location and I knew I wanted a cold beer. I was by myself and chose to sit at the bar where I was waited on immediately. I started with fish chowder which was simply delicious! Then a side salad with fresh greens ample dark lettuce and some red onions madd it tasty. Then broiled haddock, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh green beans made a fantastic meal! The energetic waitress was very pleasant, helpful, attentive and the whole visit was great! Couldn’t ask for a better meal or service! Definitely will return!
