A tremendous combination of service, amazing hospiality and great comfort food. The atmosphere is a total throughback to better days. Closes at 1:30, we stopped in at 1:25 and they treated us like we were the first customers of the day. Food came out hot,...delicious and plentiful. Make sure you try the country omlette, blueberry pancakes or biscuits and gravy, you won't regret it!More
My husband and I have stopped numerous times. Last week had eggs Benedict..the best we have ever had..the only rival to their Benedict was a diner in Boston. We get Eggs Benedict often in different parts of country. Wonderful food and service with a smile....Do not miss this one!!More
Good home style food, adequate portions, pleasant personnel in this family-run establishment. Go for it!
These girls know how to run a small diner and are on the ball! I stop in for breakfast when i am in the area and sometimes go out of my way to go,its that good! My fav is the steak, onions, and mushroom omlette! Try some...of the soups too! Keep up the good work sisters!More
This was a really cute, quaint little spot off the side of Route 30 in the lower Adirondacks. I only stopped I because I didn’t have time to hunt for someplace else to eat, but I ended up really glad that I visited. But this...place is like viewing a snapshot of something from 100 years ago. It is a small diner that is mostly all wood inside, with very old furnishings and decorations, etc. Heck, it has an old icebox that is over 100 years old! Anyway, I talked with one of the owners, Darlene, who made my BLT while I waited. All the food is really homemade, and delicious. My waitress, Angie, was also incredibly friendly. These are just super nice people who run a very friendly, cozy diner. I don’t normally give diners a score of ‘5’, but I will for this one. Stop in and say hi…you’ll be glad that you did.More
The woman my fiancé and I rented our lake house from recommended this place, so we went to check it out on our way back to CT. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Really cute mom and pop restaurant! The...staff was friendly and the food came out quick and was delicious!! I had the Cinnamon Bun French toast and it was amazing!! My fiancé had the Kielbasa and cheese omelette which was also delicious! No credit cards so bring cash!More
Excellent comfort food, friendly staff and affordable prices I can’t wait to go again Small wonderful place to go!
Don’t let the outside fool you! This place is old but clean. The food is always delicious and you won’t leave hungry. A good old fashioned family business where you’re greeted with a smile and treated like a guest! Love the fish fry on Fridays...and the pancakes and omelets for breakfast! Prices are very reasonable. Save room for dessert!More
We loved the hometown atmosphere in this restaurant. The lady who took our order Cooked our order and served our order was really hustling. The food was okay. Walking in the door felt like Norm coming into the Cheers bar. Everyone welcomed you.
We love to stop here for early lunch. The atmosphere of a real diner is great and very friendly. We love their omelettes and soups. Don’t miss this gem!
Friendly service, charming decor and great local atmosphere. We drove 3700 miles to eat here and the lunch was terrific. Thank you!
Have visited at least once a year for many years. A homey place run by nice folks. Good place to catch up on local gossip and fish stories. Food always good and served up fast.
A landmark. And lunches are great! The omelettes are not greasy they are just perfect. Delivered with a smile! Highly recommended!
This diner is a true gem! Operated by two sisters who alternate who does the cooking and who serves and the waitress, the food is incredible and the service is fast and friendly. Cash only!
