Had lunch here a few weeks ago, which was average, and noticed the hibachi tables. That caused us to return for dinner. We made a reservation and confirmed there wasn't a wait. We arrived 5 minutes early were placed at a table then told two groups of people just walked in before us (without a reservation) and we would have... More

A little pricey but very tasty.! Never had to have reservations. The chef makes the experience super fun! Take the kids!

Food is really good - and the show is always fun. Lunchtime seating is a bargain. Great for all tastes - meat, seafood or vegetarian

My husband wanted to go here because some people he works with recommended it. I had been here about three years ago but was willing to try it again. The restaurant was nearly empty. We were greeted with , "Two? Table?" And were seated. The table was empty--no napkins, chopsticks or silverware. The waitress came over and asked us if... More

Average Asian restaurant that does only the basics and nothing more. Food is ok and lots of it and prices are good. Service is minimal . A disappointing experience.

This is a fun place to go for special occasions. We've done hibachi there are few times for birthdays, which was entertaining. I find it a little odd to sit with other people at the table and have vegetables tossed down my blouse, though. The food is more affordable if you don't eat at the hibachi table. And you end... This is a fairly typical hibachi style restaurant. The food was decent and could not find any real complaints except for the fact that they apparently do not allow refills on drinks...or at least I was never offered one.

I highly recommend Mt. Fuji for hibachi and sushi. If you enjoy the hibachi cooking, this place does it quite well. Everything always tastes great, and the chefs have fun, engaging personalities. (If you have minor children, just be aware that they try to squirt Saki into the mouths of the guests as part of the show.) The sushi is... More

It is a curious fact that the Mt. Fuji Japanese steak house, hibachi and sushi bar has TWO restaurants, one in Oneonta and one in Cooperstown. The menu is almost identical in both restaurants, yet the prices aren't, as my husband and I discovered when we ate back-to-back lunches at the Cooperstown and Oneonta Mt. Fuji restaurants on two consecutive... More

I have been to Mt. Fuji at least 50 times since they have been open. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and very delicious. We very rarely have poor service except when it gets super busy and even then they have always made up for a missed order. My kiddos, my family and I never get sick of the... More
