Bar drinks are overpriced and not very good. Order the beer or soft drinks. Service can vary from poor to excellent - not consistent. Ditto for the food quality. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Family friendly and always plenty of kids and noise on weekends.

The quality and staff has since declined. the wait staff seated us and we waited 20 minutes for our waiter to come and even ask us for a drink. then once we got our drinks another 20 minutes to order our... The Eggplant Parmesan brought in my new year last night! Love it here. The restaurant is right off the Palisades Parkway.

In my opinion the quality of food was very poor. They need another chef. My shrimps came out like plastic for over cooking the soup Clam chowder was so watery with no taste. Never again.

Gilligan's is a place to get seafood prepared in many ways in a casual environment. The menu has raw bar, grilled, and fried options. The section is very good. My associate and I saved the raw bar sampler of half shell oysters and clams with chilled shrimp. All were well chilled and full of flavor. He had the scallops and... More

We went here twice in a month. First time we were very satisfied about the food but the service was poor. Asked for a refill 2 times and never arrived. Seeing the waiter was almost impossible. Second time, food great and good service. Waitress very nice and present. The first was a 3, the second a 5, I guess 4... More

It seems to attract families with children. A good place for large servings. It was noisy. I ordered broiled scallops. I was expecting to see plain scallops broiled but they arrived with a bread coating. Décor is tropical. Cute for kids.

If you are on your lunch hour or are otherwise pressed for time; go elsewhere. While the food is very good, speedy service is not spoken here. You can expect a long wait for your food on a Friday or Saturday night, but slow service is also the norm on a Monday afternoon visit for lunch. My wife and I... More

Gilligan's has good food, just needs a good hosing down. Starts off with seating us at a dirty table, the waitress ask the busboy to clean it off which starts off a little dispute between them lol. Food comes out...asked for water with our drinks, never got it, asked for some bread, never got it. Keep trying it, There take... More
