Great waitress very knowledgeable with the wines and menu, Ordered several coarses but was never rushed. great apps. and salads. the entree was good but not what was advertised, it was described as veal blanquette ( which is a blond veal stew) but was a nice loin veal... Returned to a small French themed Charcuterie/ Tavern at the Public Market near Center City Rochester. On our last visit, Cure was an urban pioneer in a part of town that was literally locked up at night. The proprietors of highly successful Good Luck, decided on a morning coffee shop, to locate a smaller venue to serve house cured meats... More

My husband and I arrived about noon on a whim and without a reservation. Lucky for us, they were able to seat us because a at least two large groups arrived right after! The atmosphere was wonderful, comfortable, open, and airy. Even though it was busy, it was possible to have a conversation across our table. We enjoyed sipping a... More

Love this place, always so friendly. The bartender is the best in the city. The food is unique and the atmosphere is intimate.

I've dined at cure each of my four visits to Rochester over the past six months. I have to rank it as one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The ambiance is funky French bistro. The menu is local and French bistro and inspired. The service is friendly and attentive. The chef is amazing. Each dish is perfectly prepared and presented.... More

Cure feels like a French bistro! The food is very good and they have special menus on Thursdays with emphasis on a French region.

We have been back to cure monthly for their Thursday night Price fix and wine pairing dinners. The menu is always eccentric and exciting, and creative. Every meal has been truly wonderful, and the wine pairings are great. The waitress is so knowledgeable about the wines and her demeanor in instruction is delightful. I would recommend this restaurant to those... More

We had high hopes for Cure based on the pedigrees of the people running the show. The cocktails we had were great; off to a good start. For starters we got the foie gras and bone marrow along with the beef tartare. The first was more like liver flavored butter. Very disappointing. The beef tartare was better with a very... More

Someone told us to stop here while we were at the market. We stopped in for coffee, but heard the bar scene and food is great. Very rustic and authentic place.

Been to France many times, this little gem in Rochester is a wonderfully authentic reminder of a French cafe. We had the prix fixe special and the triple flight paired wines, it all came together beautifully. Great, attentive service, and at a reasonable price. Next time we're in Rochester we're coming back.
