Rookie's has become our weekly (and sometimes more-than-weekly) hangout. The waitresses are excellent, as are the bartenders, and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun -especially for a sports bar. The food is really good. Yes, it's bar food, but it's GOOD bar food, and they have a varied menu that includes paninis, salads, pizzas, delicious appetizers, and even vegetarian items.... More

As someone who works in the hospitality field, I consider myself to be pretty tolerant. It took us 15-20 minutes to be greeted by a server whom only asked us "are you guys getting drinks?" She never introduced herself. I only found out by my check her name. Two guys who came in after us got served the same time... More

Greeted by bouncer. That was it. Sat at table for 10 minutes, never greeted by waitress, no one made eye contact, left. Will not go back, ever.

Went there before seeing a movie at Tinseltown. Had never been here before. Went during the day. Sat at the bar. It felt like being at Cheers! The guy to the left of me was a construction worker. Guy to the right of me was a businessman. Bartender was very friendly and service was good. Customers at the bar all... More

They have blackened out their windows to put in TV's all around the place. But this has given the bar a dark and dingy look and feel. Mostly a younger crowd (20's) with patrons who like to be loud. Okay to grab a beer, but not much else.

Sports Bars are difficult, as they pretty much deliver what you'd expect from a Sports Bar......casual atmosphere, average food based on casual dining and so-so service....you're not expecting 4 or 5 star anything and Rookie's delivers pretty much that......it's a sports bar, period. If you're hungry and want to grab a bite and watch some sports on the big screen,... More

This is my kind of sports bar. Comfortable for adults and family. Lots of BIG TV screens. Good size menu and good choice of beers Good service. And the food is very good. Two Dads with two 15 year-old boys stopped here while in town for a sports tournament after taking in a movie at Tinsletown Cinemas (highly recommended too)... More

Very good- love their dirty martini and wings. They offer a lot of bar food and some salads. The staff is very friendly. It is a sports bar though-- TV screens are all over the place. The walls are all black so it's dark inside.
