They should really do something to fix the fact that this restaurant is nearly impossible to eat at. I think they should either start taking reservations or maybe have a bar area people can relax in. The place has no structure. The service is terrible and the fish isn't fresh. It has shine which is a clear indication that the... More

This restaurant used to be good but they got too comfortable with their status of being the best sushi restaurant. Now the sushi is prepared in a rushed and sloppy fashion... they fill the rolls up with way too much rice and hardly any fish. They don't put any care into the food. I've even asked for less rice here... More

The food is worth the wait!! The only problem I had is the tables are way too close. The service is good but the sushi is out of this world!! I have never been disappointed with any entree I ordered.

Food was awesome as usual .... I'm just on the fence about the renovation. I was expecting more tables and it doesn't appear to be any more then before, and when they get their weekend crowds I wonder where the people will wait. Ps expect the noise level to be high based on the set up, high ceilings and cement... More

After their renovation, the layout of the restaurant looks like a school cafeteria. Table after table after table. It does not have a warm feeling and the noise level is so bad, that I had to yell to my wife across the table. The food is very good and their menu is extensive, but they wont be seeing us again.... Food was ok, but far to expensive for the quality and area. We never went back. So may others to try for a nicer experience.

If you like a cocktail before dinner then you need to go a few doors down to Bessito before dinner. The ambiance in Kotobuki is not fancy but the sushi is fresh, tasty and cheap . If you're looking for a special evening out this is not it but if you want good Sushi come here.

Slow and arrogant waitress service at the sushi bar. Would not recommend this place at all. Suitable for rich arrogant people not your every day person looking for a friendly place to eat!

Had lunch here crowded but yet they managed to seat us fairly quickly and service was also quick. Sushi was fresh and prepared nicely. Udon soup was full of flavor and had plenty of savory items in it. Def will return.

Excellent sushi. They have a platter for two that was really good. I have to say though the cooked fish not so good. If you go, stick with the sushi, sashimi or maki rolls. Service was fine. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night. People waiting for table when we left. I've been going to different Japanese Restaurants in... More
