Generally a nice place to eat with indoor and outdoor tables. I particularly enjoyed the car nights when people bring their customized rides to show

I consider myself to be a connoisseur of BBQ and Mr. Eds used to be a reliable stop. However, now that it is no longer Mr. Eds since being taken over by Furlongs, the BBQ is terrible. To be fair, I've been there several times and each time the food/service was worse than the previous. It seems as if the... More

It was average at best. Live close but haven't been back. Too many other better places around the area.

Delicious ribs, chicken, Mac n cheese, cole slaw, ice cream.. We all can't believe we never knew about this place. Been coming up to Saratoga forever. Definitely worth the trip . The whole staff couldn't have been nicer. Believe me you will not be disappointed.

Traveled to Route 29 to this darlin' (and authentic) road house for great home cooking. Pulled pork--Memphis style, packed with flavor, absolutely delicious! Coleslaw--homemade with a bit of a bite. Mac and cheese just like my favorite Aunt use to make:baked and made white cheddar cheese, melt in your mouth good. Comfort food at its best. Definitely worth the trip!

I drive by Mr. Ed's from time to time and have often thought of stopping since I can always use a good BBQ dinner. Last Saturday I stopped and not knowing what to order, picked the BBQ Sampler Platter for $9.99. It is listed under Appetizers on their menu. It includes a "trio of our best smoked meats to enjoy... Ah, the good old days when Mr. Ed's was on Broadway. This is really a hidden gem that only the locals know about. It's not flashy or downtown so most tourist don't stray this far out of "town" but it's worth a trip. Don't expect anything fancy, but the bbq is great and they still serve greekers! Ice cream and... Mr. Ed’s is located near the track in Saratoga it’s a great little place that I never knew about until a local Saratogian mentioned it. The building is small but has a number of booths and tables. Outside are tall trees like a campground setting. There are picnic tables outside under a large red and white tent and a few... More

My family and I were regulars here last year. We went back this year. Let me say. It is gross. Where is the potato salad? The garlic mashed were my absolute favorite last year. They tasted like plain old mashed potatoes. The meat was gross. Tough, old. Yuck!! The atmosphere was better last year. Nobody seems happy. The food is... More
