Right off the bat we figured it would be a nice night, since our server, Christine, was excellent. She went beyond our expectations, and so did my fish of the day, as well as the chocolate cake. Wonderful place, with owners who really care.

Nothing spectacular, but the food is good Italian. Service is friendly and efficient. Specials are generally good.

Have been going to Cornells for many years...under several different owners. But there's something about Cornells...the service...the accommodating attitude...and most of all, the food that has simply stood the test of time. First, it was a very busy night, yet the maitre'd went out of...More

Recently tried out this solid Italian restaurant because of its proximity to Proctor's Theater in Schenectady and because it is has been a favorite of the friends we were going to see 'Beautiful' with. It was definitely not disappointing. The atmosphere is good and there...More

Encouraged by the trip advisor overall high ranking for Schenectady local Italian dining, we made reservations for three on Open Table. When we arrived, our reservation was apparently "nowhere to be found" -- which has never happened to me with Open Table (very reliable). We...More

I will confirm that the restaurant is under the same management that it has been for the last five years. We saved the restaurant from bankruptcy because it was our favorite restaurant and continues to be. Cornells won 11 Bestie awards from Capital Region Living...More

After at least 3 prior visits to Cornell's that were fantastic, so sad to see that something has happened to cause this restaurant to lose its touch. Our Open Table reservation was "lost" but we didn't have to wait to get seated. However our table...More

We've been looking forward to trying Cornell's for a while. We waited too long to make dinner plans on St. Patrick's Day and Cornell's was able to seat us on short notice. I knew the prices were a bit steeper than More Perecca's and Canali's,...More
