I've been going here for years. I bring whomever is with me. Just take a look at the pastry case and pick something. There's even gluten free baked goods. The Danish and muffins are amazing. Everything is baked right there. I never drive past without stopping, even if I'm not really hungry. I know it is a treasure and don't... More

A nice little place right on route 28 in Shokan; very good pastries from their bakery- all home made. Breakfasts are very good, prices are very reasonable, service is friendly. Also serving lunch.

The almond pastries are incredible! They come in two varieties-horn shape and rounded rectangular! Try them. They freeze well. I cut them in diagonal fourths and serve surrounded by strawberries!

I live minutes away from the bakery yet would rather skip a meal than eat there...I am disappointed every time we stop, from rude service to greasy poorly prepared food, if you are visiting the area skip this one!

The owner Peter is one heck of a baker ...got to try his bake goods .hes terrific. What does not sell he donates to the food bank. That alone lets you know what a caring ,generous person he is.how do I know that he,s giving me at the day's end bakes goods for the seniors in SHandakan village apartments.

This is an awesome bakery in the middle of nowhere. I went in for a sandwich and left with bags of delicious homemade breads and pastries. Sandwich (corned beef) was great too!

Stoped here to get a quick breakfast on my way home. The man working the grill said we could sit outside since we where a large group. The waitress came out to take our order 10 mins later only to tell us they where all out of eggs 😭

A cozy looking little eatery on Rte. 28 in Shokan, NY which has probably been there a long time as the decor has apparently been unchanged for years. We had basics...eggs, sausage, toast, coffee - and have no complaints. They bake their own bread and pastries and the toast we had was a delicious 8 grain - very dense and... More

I have gone in 40 times this year. I will go back. This is simple food, freshly prepared, so that should be your expectation - eggs, grilled cheese, burgers and the like. I think that's a good thing. Wide selection of pastry. Some of the best scones around, but if you don't like those, there are many other options. Prices... More
