Just had dinner here for Mother's Day and was rather disappointed. First of all, it our waiter was abruptly rushing all his movements and conversation in each of his interactions with us (like he had way to much coffee in him) making him mildly annoying. I asked for my salad dressing on the side and he brought the salad with... More

Recently had dinner with friends and was disappointed in the overall meal. Had the crab stuffed mushrooms which were lacking in taste as well as crabmeat or lack of.The vegetables had small portionsize and came cold and uncooked. We got dessert to go which had no topping and we're very small. I don't think we will be visiting real soon.

We annually visit family in Syracuse, regularly seeking out quality restaurants which offer varied well prepared and presented American cuisine. An extensive non-pretentious wine list is a plus. The Inn's offerings unfailingly meet our requirements. While it is not inexpensive, at each of our many visits we have found it to be an excellent value. Without fail it appears at... More

This old stone house on the hill serves up reliable, delicious entrees and has quite a nice wine selection. If we stop in impromptu we eat in one of the cozy booths at the bar so we can relax, eat and watch a game. If we have several people, they have two nice dining rooms with plenty of space. I... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. I made a reservation for 8 and was immediately seated when we arrived. The restaurant was not very busy. My wife started with a cup of French onion soup and had puff pastry fill with chicken breast. She did not like the chicken breast. It was wrapped in fresh... More

My husband and I recently attended a fantastic dinner at the Inn, paired with South African wines, and it was a WOW night!!! I loved ALL of the food-- easy to have happen, since Brad is such an amazing chef!!!-- my favorite dish this night was the grilled lamb rib chops with pumpkin ravioli, paired with a Syrah!! It was... It begins with a drive up the hill to this gorgeous historic stone building and the always warm and friendly welcome of this experienced host. This recent weekend we decided to stop in the bar first for the perfectly made and icy cold cocktail where we were introduced to and enjoyed great conversations with other guests having a great time.... Once again a wonderful wine dinner at the inn of the seasons. This restaurant has been hosting wine dinners several times a year with a focus on different interesting wines. This month it was South African wines paired with terrific food. The wine guy was from s. Africa and actually served one of his wines along with a number of... More

My single friend and I had the misfortune of being forced to dine with an older couple and some slovenly, annoying sorority girl who dressed like a scumbag. We headed into the lunch knowing it would be dreadful – this restaurant did us no favors. The cruddy decor was like that of a 1937 nautical-themed restroom and did nothing to... More

ThIs a one of the best secrets in Syracuse. Hidden out of the way, should be a go to for anyone looking for a restaurant that is consistently very good. This is one of the few restaurants in central NY that serve a prime NY strip. Half the price of what you would pay for the same steak cooked poorly... More
