I have been dining here for over 20years. Never disappointed! Food is excellent, and wide variety of drinks/beers.

The staff were charming and the service excellent but the let down was that the food was disappointing

Never disappointing. Great service, great food, great space … it’s what small town restaurants should be about.

My daughter and I often go there for Saturday or Sunday lunch when she has ballet practice in Hunter. It’s alsways so good and sometimes it’s hard to get a table because it’s so busy.

Upon entering I didn't see any staff and no one greeted me for about 5 minutes. There were several staff working but I expect to be greeted without too long of a wait to be acknowledged. When one of the workers walked by me I...asked if anyone was working as a greeter and was pretty much dismissed with " we will get to you when we can." I continued to wait until one staff member simply asked me if I was there for dinner and I said yes. She asked me where I wanted to sit and pointed to two tables. I chose one by the window but as I was walking to it this staff member handed the menu to another customer who was also waiting and asked her to pass it to me. So far I considered this to be pretty bad service and I was thinking that there was not going to be much else. As I sat down I hoped to see someone who would finally acknowledge me as a paying customer, but to add to the poor service I again waited, and waited and after another 5 minutes I decided to just leave. I found a nice restaurant just up the street that met me immediately as I entered and I knew that I had made the right choice in leaving the other one.More

Friendly staff and good food... limited menu but prepared well... close seating but lots of old time character. Signs declare 1971 opening, but there is more or a 19th century aura...

We went back to Last Chance for dinner this year Last year there was no wait service, it was countertop service only because of COVID. The wait service is back. Very friendly service, but a bit overwhelmed. It's difficult to hire restaurant workers in 2021....Good beer selection. They claim to have 300 beers available, but the menu listed far fewer. Nothing on tap. The Buffalo wings were delicious. We enjoyed the Fondue. Nice atmosphere.More
