Six Minnesotans stopped here on our way from a visit to West Point on our way back to NYC because of the historical significance. Ended up having the best meal of the entire week splurging in NYC. Service was very good. Menu was unique and...More

Our family went for Thanksgiving dinner and, though I enjoyed the atmosphere, there were several problems. The price was too high ($69/per person, I think) for what you got, and the food was mediocre. Also, I'll never get over calling three shrimp a shrimp cocktail....More

A tip, though: iced tea refills aren't free; with tax & tip, a refill is about $4. Just so you know.

We ate here one night when we didn't know where to go. First, I love history, so this was an amazing establishment. We sat at a cozy table by the fire and drinks were great. The food was amazing. We had steak and we had...More

After many visits to 76 House, our last visit was disappointing. Server was scarce and failed to act on requests. Beer was insufficiently chilled, shrimp appetizer wasn't cold and seemed to have been made in advance with signs of having sat for a period of...More
