We were two couples. We shared the cod fish cakes and eggplant rollatini - both outstanding. We then had two orders of short rib special with noodles and two orders of striped bass livornese. One dish was better than the other. The service was good.

We went for lunch a couple of times. Both times food was well prepared and presented. Staff and owner were pleasant. Cozy place. We will go back.

Similar to another recent reviewer our experience at Bistro 12 was marred by the attitude of the staff. While the food was quite good, the message we received from the time we walked in the door was that any special requests or even questions were...More

We love living in one of New York's river towns. Tarrytown has great views, easy transport from NYC and northern towns, uniques shops, and delicious restaurants. We enjoyed our visits to Bistro 12. Good food, atmosphere and prices. One of the owners is an artist,...More

We made a reservation to meet out of town friends at this restaurant for its first seating. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. The 2 servers were cold and gave an aloof vibe. Food was fine but overall dining experience was tainted...More

Really good food in a nice (but a little cramped) store-front location right in the heart of Tarrytown. Restaurant has a homey, comfortable feel to it. Nice menu items and specials with standards having an updated flair. Tastefully dressed Arugula salad was a good starter...More

Went here with my boyfriend last night and I would highly recommend it! We got two appetizers - calamari and burrata, I got the seafood risotto and he got the chicken francaise and everything was delicious, even the bread. I'm not even a huge seafood...More

Eggplant rollatini and calamari appetizers were ordinary. Branzino and salmon were vapid. Unimaginative menu. At those prices, I expected much more. Youngest server very good. The two older guys not so much.

Huge fans of the service, amazing fresh high quality food and entire atmosphere of old European attention to detail and commitment to quality. Our favorites are grilled Octopus salad and tiramisu.

Had dinner there before going to Tarrytown Music Hall. Super convenient as it is right across the street. I would recommend a reservation. Great menu at reasonable prices. Great Service as well.

There are two metered public parking lots a block or two away from Bistro 12. We went for an early dinner and found plenty of open spaces, but when we left people were fighting over our spot. In fairness, there was a... More
