What a nice surprise on our Thanksgiving visit near Troy. My son took us here for dinner on Sunday night. The potato pancakes are the best I've ever tasted in a restaurant. I had the Polish sampler of 2 pierogi, 2 stuffed cabbage rolls and 2 potato pancakes. Granddaughter (6) tried the pickle soup first and loved it.....Would definitly like... More

Went with colleagues after work this past summer for drinks. The rooftop bar was nothing short of amazing! Felt like we were in another country with the beautiful landscaping and waterfalls! Foreign beers on tap were high in alcohol volume and great on taste (I had a porter). Snacks (including big German soft pretzels) perfectly complemented the beer! I can't... More

No reservations taken at Muza unless over 6 people. Friday night near 7pm wait was just over half an hour. Spent time upstairs at "the hill" bar drinking Zywiec beer on tap. Great tasting brew. My wife's dinner was chicken marsala which she described as very good. My sampler platter of stuffed cabbage pierogi and potato pancake was very flavorful.... More

A homely place in an indifferent neighborhood near RPI with modest air conditioning and furnishings. Service was excellent: pleasant, welcoming, efficient, unintrusive. Food was equally good: old fashioned European food, very well prepared and seasoned - all around delicious. We'll be back!

Went to Muza's in Troy after hearing some great recommendations from friends. Went "up the hill" first to wait for our table and enjoyed some eclectic beers from the selection offered. The staff were friendly and informed. The outdoor seating is really relaxing and enjoyable. Downstairs the waitress was engaging, informed and helpful. Our food was served right from the... More

There were four of us and we all agreed that our visit was not a success. First of all, it was a very hot day - around 90 degrees -and there was no AC. They opened the second door facing 15th street (not the official entrance one) and the only result was letting in more hot humid heat. Three of... More

Muza's is a small, charming Polish food restaurant. The owners are Polish and a relative of theirs opened up a wine bar next door with a partner. Prices for Muza's food are reasonable for the Eastern European fare. Pierogis are dumplings of potato and cheese encased in a thin layer of dough, then boiled and served up with butter, onions... The back patio is awesome! Great for dates or just hanging out. I tried the cabbage rolls, pirogis, and potato pancakes and it wasnt very good. The cakes tasted like oil and were overcooked. The cabbage rolls werent very good. It was also hot as hell inside and you arent allowed to eat on the back porch. I was annoyed... More

Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate the opportunity to grow and improve. Muza offers traditional Polish cuisine with table service inside their space. The Hill Beer Garden offers a European smoked and grilled menu, served "beer garden style". We have an open layout for our guests to be able to move around, evoking a fun, community feel. We... Muss is nestled in a former hair salon, remodeled to look like a European-Inspired cafe, just off Congress Street in Troy. Lots of traditional Polish, Hungarian and slavic entrees---kielbasa, homemade potato pancakes, pierogi, schnitzel...all hand prepared and served in ample portions. Prices are reasonable---in the $10-15 range. This is a great spot if you are looking for something you don't... More

Dreamed of eating the polish food that my long deceased grandmother made me, and found it. Tried the sampler platter which was one of this, two of theses but I had to close my eyes and remember my grandmother making homemade potato pancakes . This was it ! If you like Polish/Eastern European food you have to try this establishment.... More
