Nice place w/great service, great food, and relaxed mountain atmosphere. The owners are on-site! Danyle is a great waitress. Their coffee choices amounted to just one, however. I go there a few times per year and love it every time.

Huge cup of delicious coffee, comfortable seating, and nice cutlery & napkins. Great value. Huge portion of delicious peppery gravy over a fluffy biscuit. Get the half portion. I didn't. They have good looking scones and muffins but I was too full. I will be...back. It's by the bridge..the sign, tho big blends in. No stop signs in this town so watch for it. They have plenty of parking.More

This is a hidden gem in Upper Jay. We were a group of twenty friends heading home from a weekend in Lake Placid. Judging by the full parking lot, this is a very popular spot. Hubby and I had omelets: mine was the Vegetarian with...cheese, hubby’s was ham and onion. Let’s just say they were the largest omelets we’ve ever seen! The omelet and toast were plenty for sure. Everyone in our group raved about their meals! Hubby even bought 2 pounds of coffee beans to take home! Their coffee mugs are large and would be perfect for soup too. Thank you to the servers who seated all of us in groups of 2-6, as tables opened up. We would love to visit again!More

We were in desperate need of lunch and came up on the cafe. So glad we did. While my husband enjoyed a panini, I opted for the French toast. OMG, it was the best French toast I have ever had. Thick slabs of sourdough that...kinda crackled with sweet goodness when you bit into it. Real maple syrup. Great price. Friendly server, roasting their own coffee beans and beyond reasonable prices made for a enjoyable experience. Will definitely stop again when in the area.More

Our group went here for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! This is a very cozy and friendly place. I had poached eggs over corned beef hash with a side of bacon and it was very good! You can also purchase their mugs which my...wife did because they are good sized. The patio wasn't open when we were there but I'd imagine eating outside would've been great since it sits in a good amount of land and it's right on a river. Definitely going back next time we're in the area!More

Cinnamon rolls are delicious, best fluffy biscuits and the sausage gravy was so good. The eggs are fresh and cooked a variety of ways. I loved the homemade hash with my shirred eggs and ww enjoyed some of the freshest coffee. Plus, our server was...such a great hostess. Very cute decor and I of course left with a peanut butter cookie for later.More

Our server at The View at The Mirror Lake Inn suggested breakfast here. Well we were wowed! Not only were the choices fresh and tasty but the restaurant was the site of the once famous "Land of Make Believe" where I traveled with my family...when I was young.More

So nice to be able to "eat in" with all necessary precautions taken, and the food and service were very good. Alas, not open on Monday, or we'd have been there every day.
