This restaurant is beautiful, the location is superb and right on the waters edge, and the food was the best we've had in Mauritius. It's really a fantastic blend of Indian and French cuisine to produce fine Mauritian cuisine. A must try for a special romantic dinner. Superb.

Fantastic food especially the fish, great position on the water front and lovely, friendly staff. We would definitely recommend this to everyone and we enjoyed it so much we went again. There is parking nearby, but you have to look out for the sign saying Le Pescatore. We didn't book for lunch, but you would need to for dinner.

This place is fantastic for a romantic dinner. The outdoor seating is beautiful and the waves is just a couple of meters away. The interior is also very stylish. The staff is very professional, maybe a little bit on the stiff side if you ask me. But if that's your cup of tea the it's perfect. Food is definitely delicious... More

Exquisite french cuisine with the perfect Mauritian twist. One of the most appealing and cosy atmosphere we've ever experienced, with the sound of the waves crushing on the seashore. The Head Chef Pramod Gobin greets us personally while having our meal and is open to any critics. The family's favourite remains the 'Jambolan Fruit' ice-cream which can only be tasted... More

Found this restaurant by accident when walking around on our first day in the area. Opted for a lunchtime visit and was well worth it. Overlooks the sea and a boated area used by the local divers. We also had the sorbet and there is nothing wrong with it. If you don't like beetroot then it obviously isn't for you... More

I am incredulous as to how this place has received such positive reviews. It's like they must've been eating in a different place! We were also recommended this place by our hotel also. The decor is very nice albeit there was no atmosphere as the place was virtually empty. But that's not a big deal if the main event that... More

We arrived just as the kitchen was about to close for lunch- and the staff were highly accommodating considering our tardiness! We ordered fresh fish which was lightly spiced and extremely flavorsome. Beautiful setting, sitting out gazing at the ocean. The only downside was the number of flies, though our waiters tried to make it as pleasant for us as... More
