This was my first sampling of Ethiopian food, and what a good one it was. Attentive service in a nice outdoor spot kicked things off nicely. We had one of the mixed combo meals which is a very nice, simple way to get stuck into the style of eating. I would love to go back to mix up my choices... More

Spend every night at this lovely place. Very good food and service. Loved it. Especially the lamb dishes were good, and eating with my fingers is a treat. We will be back!

Discovered this place while getting off the ferry from Dar. Me and my wife can spot an Ethiopian restaurant from a mile away as we are obsessed with the cuisine. But trust us, the love for Ethiopian food does not make this review biased. Actually, it makes it that much real because we know when we have had a good... More

We had a good meal here sitting in the garden. Whilst others in the restaurant seemed to have waited a long time for food we did not have any issues. The food was delicious, although the staff did not speak much English so it was a challenge to explain the menu.

Food here is delicious. We shared one of the combination menus which was plenty for 2 people. There was a slight lack of understanding when we wanted to order additional dishes but were told we were not allowed to. That aside, the food did not take too long and was freshly cooked. Try the avocado juice for something a little... More

It's so surprising and feels really bad to be Neglected in your own country, I went to the restaurant the previous day with a friend of mine(a white) and got top service, but today 21/09/16 I went alone just for drink and what I exprienced was TOP RACISM because just as I arrived no waiter even bothered they are all... I've only had Ethiopian food a couple of times in the past and the food here is delicious. It takes a while to prepare but the restaurant is pleasant and the food is worth the wait. The waiters are nice too. However, be sure to take the correct change with you. Unlike *most* other places I've experienced in Zanzibar, the... More

We came here on our second night in stone town after we walked past it on our way around town. We never had Ethiopian food before, but it was amazing! We went for the vegetarian option and my brother who loves meat did not miss a thing. It is probably a little more pricey, but the portions are huge and... More

It's the first time I experienced Ethiopian cuisine, it was very enjoyable. Lovely flavours. The waiters were attentive and very polite but the owner controlled everything like a battleship ;) you couldn't just sit and relax.
