This is a lovely Michelin star restaurant , the food was lovely for the lunch we had, however I felt the wines were expensive , Rose cost me €40 a glass, I should have paid more attention rather than say, can you recommend a wine to suit the course. So, go , but watch the wine price list.

Great value lunch in this beautiful town but the waiter spilled sauce over a friend's back. They could have been more open and apologised upfront, but I had to tell them before they wiped it off. They did however offer everyone a glass of champagne as a silent apology. Wine list was great and enjoyed the lunch though

Has to be one of the best restaurants in the region. We have been here many times over the years and if they don't yet have their Michelin star, it can't be far away. Our meal was outstanding ... my truffle risotto starter and bar de ligne main were perfect and the Cointreau soufflé has to be my favourite dessert... More

Excellent interesting food, one of the best wine menus to accompany the meal that we ever had. Good service, pleasant location.

We had lunch at the Logis de la Cadene some years ago with our family which we enjoyed and so it was our first choice when taking some friends to visit St Emilion. It was even better this time. It looks like it now has a Michelin star and the food and service has definitely gone up a level. We... More

The food was exquisite, and the staff were delightful and incredibly attentive. The amuse bouches melted in the mouth. The wine list was predictably extensive but glasses of fine wine were also available.

Really nice spot and we were sat outside. Recently awarded a Michelin star I believe. We were on a set menu. Starter of asparagus veloute was very nice indeed followed by an equally good cod dish with truffle mash. Chocolate dessert very good. Wine was affordable. Would like to try the full menu or tasting menu.

Let me start by saying, the cuisine in Bordeaux-Aquitane had not been my favorite until this meal. Our sommelier recommended an exceptional wine to start, paired with a nice light appetizer. Our server went through the menu in detail, and found something wonderful for each person in our party, even a somewhat picky teenager we had with us who is... More

We had a really wonderful, memorable supper here, the service was great and the food was delicious! We ordered a set menu and they bought round a plate of mini puddings after too as it was a special occasion, which was a very thoughtful gesture. We will definitely be back here when we return to Saint-Emilion.

Exceptional meal in Logis de la Cadene. Great service. Excellent fine cuisine. Don't expect to be served a cocktail- they don't know how to make them- Wine only! Also it's not for the faint of heart- 120Euros for a glass of Chateau Angelus. I would highly recommend but a little warning to the ladies- don't wear heels to visit this... More
