This is perfectly situated if you take a leisurely walk around St. Mary's, being about mid-way. I've stopped there 2 or 3 times, and there is always a fine selection of light lunches , charmingly served. Weather permitting, sit outside.

Went here on both our trips to the island. Tea is lovely, beer good and the food we had was delicious. The garden was great for letting the baby crawl about to chase the lovely friendly birds too. Only reason four stars is due to limited choice but understand the reasons why, and what they have is lovely. Thanks for... More

Having walked all morning, we found this wonderful tea room. The carrot and coriander soup was probably the best we have ever tasted. The service was welcoming, efficient and prompt. There was even time for gardening advice! We sat outside in the lovely sunshine and discovered the garden as we left - we'll definitely come back. Brilliant!

Went in for ice cream. It's £2.50 a scoop, which is quite expensive, but it's really nice smooth ice cream. I had orange mascapone, Belgium chocolate & strawberry. My fiance had strawberry, orange mascapone & salted caramel. We got free home made shortbread on top which was delicious. The owner was a nice guy. We sat & ate in the... More

This is clearly someone's pride and joy, the place is spotless inside and out with a perfect garden serving perfectly good food at a good price. As a place for cakes & tea it is ideal, with everything made on site, and on the special evenings for curry night it is packed. Run by nice people who care. My tip...... More

Fantastic and popular Tea Room well worth a visit. Beautiful setting with dog friendly gardens in which to rest your weary bones and soak up the atmosphere on St Martin's. The owners and staff are really friendly and welcoming. We went there in the afternoon to enjoy our first cream tea of the season and, as usual, were not disappointed.... More

Lovely walled garden allows you to find a sheltered spot on a windy day. Just spend time with your Cornish tea working out if its cream or jam you put on first

We had the most delicious (and huge!) bacon baguettes here, followed by scrummy cakes. Thoroughly recommend

Cosy tea room and fabulous lunches, cake, scones. Spoilt for choice. Gluten free choices too. Beautiful gardens with tame sparrows and even a nosy thrush. Well worth a visit
