Usually go here during restaurant week as it's a great bargain for $30. You get a nice filet mignon, app and dessert. Usually upgrade my filet for $10 you get a much bigger cut. The filets are delicious and never felt rushed like some other places. It's a nice place for a special occasion. I've eaten there for holiday lunch... More

Very good food , very good service, very good wine list. I suggest their fillet mignon and the Morton coffee. I was also near the kitchen and could observe the personal cooking - very professional and with gloves. :-)

This was the 3rd time I have been back there as I believe in 2nd and 3rd chances. I don't know why but the quality of the steak was average at best. Asparagus was done very well and tasted great. Small services as every thing is ala carte. Good wine list but pricey. I found the entire Dining experience average... More

Ate dinner there last week and was seated in a area where you can see the chefs cooking.Well to my amazement i watched to of the chefs handling food with your bare hands.I saw one chef pick up a handful of sliced potatoes and throw them in a pan then a steak no gloves bare hands. Then another chef wipe his... We arrived at our hotel in White Plains quite late and we weren't looking for a big heavy meal. Morton's was within walking distance so we decided to give it a try. We requested and were seated in the bar area at a high top and were given what I believe they call the Bar Bites menu. I ordered a... More

The t-bone was rich and cooked perfectly, but it has a distinct blood flavor and several loose shards of bone. For $65, you expect more. The shrimp alexander and bacon scallops were excellent as always. The crab cakes were unpleasantly tangy -- even with no mustard sauce. The oysters were fine. The truffle fries were good fries, but nothing special.... More

Good, but not great would sum it up. When we were first seated the wait staff was very attentive, filling empty tea, glasses, bringing more bread etc. However once the meal arrived the wait staff almost disappeared. I ordered my steak Med Rare, and it was more like Med Well. We sat half way thru the meal with empty water... More

Traveling through NY and having been stuck in traffic for a LONG TIME. The perfect spot was Mortons. Early enough to enjoy the bar area and the best of both menus, bar and restaurant is a delightful way to spoil oneself! One Grey Goose Dirty Martini, a petite filet mignon and the decadent truffle fries hit the spot. As always,... More
