My family gets here occasionally as a treat, because it is always excellent. Classic Italian food, done exceptionally well. Family owned and it shows. Gracious and attentive staff and owners. If you want an Italian experience with freshly prepared food. Do yourself a favor and stop here.

Service was good. However my husband ordered the Alfredo with shrimp which was $5.00 extra. The shrimp in the Alfredo sauce still had the tails on. He had messy fingers in order to get the tails off. My husband said something to the waitress who immediately responded that leaving the tails on and getting messy hands was the fun of... More

In 35 years that's the only way I have served shrimp and I believe I'm not the only restaurant that does that, we use a good sized shrimp and the Alfredo sauce is made with parmigiano reggiano which is not inexpensive I don't thing we deserve the 2 star review for this situation. I do have one customer that he... More

AIello's stands in the small town of Whitney Point as a better restaurant than you would expect to find there. The Southern Italian fare is very good. The portion sizes are sufficient to allow you to bring home enough for another meal. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, meat balls were very good, eggplant prepared expertly, and the decor was... More

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from hiking this past weekend. On a previous visit, I had ordered--on the server's recommendation--the 16" round Margherita pizza. It was delicious. This time, I ordered the Sicilian style 21" Margherita pizza. To say it was just as tasty as the first time would be inaccurate. Though the first time... More

My Husband and I were out for a night to celebrate and could not have picked a better place!!! We had an incredible appetizer of Ricotta Fritters, and enjoyed our dinners of Vodka Sauce with Prosciutto and Chicken of the Sea!!! Everything was outstanding including the service. We really enjoyed one of the owners coming to our table, having fun... More

Stopped on a Tuesday night in the middle of a snow storm, the restaurant was packed and after having dinner we realized why. The homemade fried mozz appetizer was the unbelievable, you'll never want a premade mozz stix again! We also had the chicken parm, which was perfect, and possibly the best scallops I've ever had. The server, bartender and... More

Whenever I passed through Whitney Point, 2 dozen times now, I always make sure to stop in and see Charlie and order the Charlie Special pizza; it has the works and is very fresh with great crust and overall flavor. The garlic knots fresh out of the oven are delicious!

Excellent menu, great variety, everything freshly-prepared -- terrific service! We were there for lunch but have had dinner at Aiello's many times. This definitely is a destination location -- worth making a stop regardless of distance.

We were seated immediately, the waitress brought us menus right away, took our drink orders and brought those. That was the best part of our visit. Our pasta dishes were some of the worst we've ever eaten. They came to the table looking okay, but after one bite we both kept pouring garlic and Italian seasoning on our dishes. Though... More

The Aiello Family moved to America from Sicily, Italy. Calogero (Charlie) was born in the village of Partannaand Vincenzo (Vinnie) was born in Alba, in the Piedmont area of northern Italy.Having grown up in and around restaurants and in Mama’s always busy kitchen, the family moved to Whitney Point where Vito (Papa) opened Aiello’s Ristorante in May of 1982 for his two sons to operate. The friendliness of Whitney Point has allowed Aiello’s to grow from a small pizzeria to the comfortable full service restaurant you enjoy today. It is important to us that you know we use fresh herbs, spices, cheeses and imported 100% olive oil in our kitchen. The finest raw ingredients we can find assure you of the highest quality experience. We enjoy getting to know our guests. Thank you for visiting with our family and we hope to see you again soon.
