Really good breakfast in a quaint little eatery that was like taking a step back in time. Pancakes and the French toast were fabulous, and served with locally made maple syrup. Prices were a lot cheaper than in Lake Placid. The place is small, but...there is parking on site or on the shoulder of hen road. Traveler alert: this is a cash only business.More

Remember to bring cash if you eat here. The French Toast is outstanding. Order two slices. Eggs and other breakfast foods are good as well.

Fantastic Breakfast! French Toast is out of this world! Wonderful taste, good crunch and a portion that won't leave you hungry. Real local maple syrup and high quality breakfast sausage rounded out the meal. Prices were average with the area, but we found it a...great value for the quality and portions served. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Made us feel like regulars. We were pleased with the COVID precautions taken and the through sanitation of each table and chair after guests. This is a quality family owned business in the area and we look forward to visiting again.More

Small mom and pop establishment. Menu was basic but lots of choices. Food was good and made fresh. Had take out. Loved the Covid precautions they had in place. Friendly owner. Hard working as I could see she was busy with customers sitting inside and...many to go orders. Great breakfast option if in the area.More

Excellent breakfast! The French toast is delicious and made with thick cut Texas toast, perfectly pan fried with cinnamon sugar crust and a side of real maple syrup. Husband had the breakfast sandwich on a homemade hard roll and said the fresh roll and bacon...were so good. Home fries were very good with his sandwich too. Plus, my side of a ham steak was not just cheap and processed, it was a real slab of ham. Our waitress was very sweet and the cook, he was wonderful and friendly to us. Highly recommend a bite here!More

We were here a couple of years ago and we were grateful that in a town that has seen too many business closures - this gem is still humming along. Good food and great service.

I will drive the 4 hours it is away just for the French toast!! Our family went to Lake Placid for vacation, and started exploring, found the wild life refuge (go, it's great!), and found this cozy, family breakfast spot. I wish we had known...about it earlier in our trip! We would've been there every day! We can't wait to return!! GET. THE. FRENCH. TOAST.More

Me and my wife went here = for breakfast every morning while we were in the Adirondacks area. Absolutely love the place, the quality of the food, the friendliness of the servers, and i cant believe how low the prices are compared to what we...pay in the city!! The place is busy so a 5-10 minute wait is to be expected. Usually we put our names on the wait list and go for a short walk down the road (5 mins) to the river, and come back. Highly recommend this to friends and family.More

We stopped here for breakfast after visiting the top of Whiteface Mountain. There was a short wait for a table. The coffee was hot - the service was great - the pancakes were amazing! I wish someone in our group had gotten the French toast...because it looked great too. Cash only!More
