If it weren't for the view of the canyon I would have rated it a 1star. The service was horrible. Slow and not very knowledgeable on the menu. The food was horrible. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. It consisted of shrimp and melted cheddar jack cheese. Yep that's it. There were some chips on the plate. Why not sautée some... More

Had dinner here and enjoyed the experience. The view is the key thing about this place as the food is average. But the view and the ensuing sunset tended to make up for that somewhat. Dinner was not over priced and the quality was decent. The service was okay. The bar area tended to be noisy, but then most bar... More

what a view. one whole wall of the restaurant is windows so you can look out at grandfather mountain. the place seems filled with alot of locals and they have a good mix of major and local breweries. food was surprisingly good, and is more of a place to get a drink and look out the window casually.

Shrimp and spinach artichoke dip were great! Pretty good wine and beer selection. Gorgeous views and good prices. Service was slow.

The reason to go to Canyons is absolutely the view! The view is stunning. The food is more or less bar food, but in all fairness we went for wine and appetizers. I have been here a few times and the service is always good.

I'd rate the service as horrible had we ever been waited on. We were seated then had another table seated right next to us. They were greeted and drink orders taken. I assume our table was being handled by the same waiter. He looked our way several times but never spoke or acknowledged us. They weren't busy at all. The... More

Had an average dinner at Canyons in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The view was superb, the food average, and the service fair.
