Loved this place for dinner and went back the next day for lunch. Very diverse menu given the size with so many great dishes. Had the venison ravioli for dinnner and the tempeh avocado melt with black bean soup for lunch. Both outstanding. Great vegetarian and meat options.

We were looking for a good place for soup, sandwiches, and salads in Boone so this place came "highly" recommended. If you want Panera don't come here, but if want the same with a local flair this just might be the place. Bottom-Line in terms of menu, all the "Panera" menu items with a local flair (read here spicy and... More

If you are looking to try something new, and aren't scared off by tempeh, venison, curry and crystalized ginger, then this is a place you must try. The nachos are super tasting, and presented very well. I tried the burrito and it was delicious! Friendly staff, down home comfortable dining area, and an outdoor patio perfect for dogs.

Great place for a variety of options. I had the Farmhouse burger and it was simply amazing!!!! The burger was a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. My only complaint is that they did not serve fries. Service is amazing. Defi yely a good choice. They dont take Amex. Just an FYI

Nice variety of lunch specials on a snowy weekend day, when some other restaurants were closed for inclement weather. Hubbie's burger was the best, and my fish tacos rivaled any I've had in the area. Drink prices were reasonable, wine selection nice. Neither my husband or I liked the salsa - too sweet. But salsa does not a lunch make!... More

Picked this place because one of our group is vegetarian and they had many choices for her. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. There was also venison on the menu for those that wanted to be more adventurous. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was wonderful - highly recommend it.

The place is a little weird but that is just North Carolina. The food was GREAT! They have a large Vegetarian menu; I had the "Cuzco Cakes" which were quinoa and black bean. Came with house made Pico de Gallo and house made queso. Mmmmmmm. Meat eaters enjoyed their meals too. Their meatloaf was wrapped in bacon and the ravioli... More

Located conveniently on King Street and with its own parking, this quaint restaurant has an extensive menu including meat dishes and selections for vegetarians. Not a vegetarian myself, but trying to eat less meat, I reluctantly stepped outside my comfort zone and had the tempeh, cheese, and avocado melt. It was fabulous! Wait staff attentive and personable. One location to... More

We were a little nervous when we pulled up and our favorite Hob Nob was replaced by WCE, but we were pleasantly surprised the goodness remained. Everything we tried was spectacular including the tomato soup, Cuban nachos, jimanez(?) burrito, and Czabo cakes. Thank you for not disappointing.
