We visit Brevard often and always try to fit in a visit to Big Mike's. It is very busy, but well worth the wait.

Excellent, simple Italian food. Not too fancy. Great place to take the family or friends. Casual. Wonderful service. I always end up coming home with left-overs. I like to share an entree and salad. Their pizza is terrific. Great go-to when not sure what I...More
Ate here on a Sunday evening and liked the food but the service was lacking. First off, it took about 45 minutes to get our food, we ordered 2 personal pizzas. The waitress never returned to fill our drinks and we had to go to...More
Great pizza, friendly staff. We ordered over the phone and got there a little early. Was greeted by a very friendly staff. Offered us free beverage while we waited for our order. Took out pie home and really enjoyed it. Had the rest the next...More
Bare bones restaurant. The pizza is very good. The salad was fresh but not as cold as it should have been. Dressing is from a squeeze bottle. The service was good.
The food is generally good. Their menu inflexibility and manager are something else. I ordered spaghettii and meatballs, and asked if I could trade in a couple of meatballs for a piece of sausage. This is routinely accomodated at every other of the many Italian...More
Kid friendly, great food, HUGE portions. Staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service.

Get there early, it fills up and service slows. Best lasagna since college days (long long long ago) -- take-out carrier leaked a little, leftover was fabulous. Short, adequate wine list. Pleasant wait staff. Great for a group. (burgers take longest to arrive)
Big Mikes, has delicious Garlic knots. Definitely a local feeling place. Great service, great italian, but HUGE portions on the pasta. Slightly off the main street area so you will have to know where you're going, but definitely worth it!
