This restaurant was tucked back in a shopping center off the main street. We were there for dinner but the breakfast menu items looked great. Good prices for good food. After a long day on the train we were happy for a simple quick meal.

If it weren't for the service, this would be a two star rating. Breakfast, the most basic meal of the day was mediocre. Coffee was barely passable. Prices very high for the quality.

The Iron Skillet is a little hole in the wall in a small strip center, sandwiched between a Hallmark store and a bike shop.  My family stopped for lunch.  Our group of 7 was quickly seated.  The waitress, seeing small kids, promptly took our drink...More

Had a great breakfast here after a SeaDoo trip on Fontana. Nothing really unique, but very good breakfast food at reasonable prices. Gravy was really good.

We spent a week in this area and ate breakfast three times at The Iron Skillet. Obviously, since we returned we were pleased. The biscuits were exceptional, whether as part of a breakfast sandwich or with sausage gravy. The bacon was thoroughly cooked and very...More

A large group of us tried the Iron skillet for the first time. This is probably the best breakfast I have had in Bryson City. The omelets looked yummy and the biscuits and gravy were nice and fluffy. Generous servings at a more than fair...More

Don't make a drive over based on the hours listed here. They aren't accurate or updated. They are not open after 2:00 moon Wednesday, Saturday and closed all day Sunday. My review isn't based on an experience as we couldn't have one.

Locals line up to get into this place. Great sandwiches. Place is small (about 8 tables) so expect wait time if eating at location. Prices are good. What's not to like?
