The staff was very friendly and even very helpful to point out local info, food was good. When we visited, the mountain was covered in clouds and snowed a bit. Where else can you go that you have a chance to play "in the clouds"!

Since there are not many options for dining on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this place thrives. Normally, I would never eat in a place like this but had no choice. Very difficult to find veg items but somehow managed to make a lunch meal.

Worth a stop to eat in summer season. Great views and rustic look. Wait staff were very nice and knew how to get the home cooked meal out soon. Classic Southern fare.
