We came in at the end of a crowded Wednesday night. Our server Katy was great. We were a party of 6. The crab and shrimp alfredo was awesome. We all had a great dinner and a nice experience. Will definitely be back.

My husband and l stopped in for a early dinner just after the 5pm opening. He had sweet tea and l had the NC golden draft craft beer and it was tasty. My soup of the day was a perfect seafood bisque and the garden salad which was fresh and crisp my blackened scallops were cooked to prefection. My husband... More

We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant opened at 5pm and there were about 15 people waiting the get in. The restaurant is on the top (2nd) floor and deceptively large I must add that it is barely handicapped accessible wit h a steep ramp upstairs or very steep stairs to the dinning room. The bathroom... More

Our family stopped in for a late lunch (they close at 3 for lunch) b/c we could not find anything else open (due to Hermine). I had the peel n' eat shrimp and scallops. I loved them both! The place was really busy and service was slow. They said they were low on staff. I'd hate to see how they... More

Glad you enjoyed your meal, thank you for coming in!! After the college kids and the teachers go back to school, we are short staffed. Everyone on the island is. Seeing that you came just after the storm, we were also one of the only places open on the island for almost a week. It usually slows down dramatically after... More

Wish I could give this spot 3.5 stars because it was simply "good." The atmosphere is really more bar than restaurant, very casual, and the bar takes up a large portion of the dining room. We visited at lunch time and the food menu was mostly fried stuff - fried seafood platters, burgers, French fries, mostly bar food options with... More

Went with a group of 7 on a Wednesday night. The place does a good business. The location is on the sound side and if you are there at the right time the sunset is nice. The dining room is worn and nothing special. The food was very good and the service was excellent. If you are looking for some... More

Once again I was annoyed I did not have my camera!! The kids were so good during the wait for food which was not that long but the 7 year old was STARVING TO DEATH. We kept him busy with I SEE SOMETHING...since the view was really pretty at sunset. The food was tasty & fresh. Servers were friendly and... More

Stopped for lunch on a rainy day, decor is traditional Hatteras style with a game room downstairs, so you can give the kids a stack of quarters and have a beverage. Didn't have any cocktails ourselves but some looked pretty tempting. I got beer battered fish, done up right in a very tasty coating with a slight taste of blackening... More

This is not the first trip to the OBX in which we visited this restaurant! And it gets better every time!! The food was great (we recommend the fried chicken sandwich, the oyster sandwich or the flounder sandwich) and the sound side seating very relaxing. You have to try the tarter sauce! Highly recommend for lunch!

Description
We are a casual dining restaurant located on the Pamlico Sound in Buxton. We have been serving lunch and dinner on the Outer Banks for 18 years now, six in Hatteras until Hurricane Isabel took our building away, and then we blew up the road to Buxton for the last 12 years. At this time lunch is served daily 11:30-3, and dinner is served nightly at 5pm. All of our soups are homemade, we serve an assortment of fresh seafood daily, as well as sandwiches, steaks, ribs, and pastas. We have live music on the deck Thursday & Friday nights this summer. Hope to see you there!!
