Was a stop on our Taste Carolina Food Tour. Enjoyed a tasty sample of a corned beef sandwich, home made sauerkraut and pickled green tomatoes. Can't wait to go back for a full sized portion. Not to be missed if hungry and in the area.

We have eaten muffaletta sandwiches in NOLA since the 60's.Central Grocery was our " go to " spot. Well the last few years their sandwiches were over-priced and poor quality. Search no further !!! Neal makes the best in-house olive salad we have had in decades. Truly delicious. Customer service is second to none as well. We also had the... More

We visited Neal's as part of a Taste Carolina food tour. Neal gave us the pastrami biscuit and pimiento cheese biscuit, both of which are 100% house made and they were amazing!!! We can't wait to go back and try more items!!

Wonderful and welcomong. Really enjoyed the wines, the commentary, the service, and the attention to detail. Wish we could do this every week!

It may be a little hole in the wall but the food is excellent! Nothing like a Pastrami on rye with mustard. My wife had the Pastrami Reuben. Both very good. Would highly recommend.

This place is small and inside seating is limited (there are outdoor picnic tables in the shade right on the street that are also available in the warmer months), but don't let that stop you from eating here. I've never had anything in the menu that isn't awesome. I know, it sounds like a cliche, but it's true. This is... More

I have eaten at this locale twice now. I was hoping that it would better then my first. Both time a party of 2 and on both occasions we left very disappointed. There sandwiches are both expensive and very skimpy on the meats etc.

If you are passing through the Chapel Hill/ Carrboro area around lunch time, this is my number one recommendation for a quick and yummy lunch! I recommend their cheddar & apple hot dog on a pretzel bun. It is delicious!

Inside is very small with limited seating. Outdoor seating is available. Sandwiches made to order. Reubens were very good. They also cater.
