Late evening dinner for 8; post college graduation events. Casual dining, outdoor patio. Lots of beer choices! Service good, picnic table seating worked well for large group. Could use outdoor heaters as temps were in the 50's by 9 p.m. Large portions on meals (burger +++) and huge helping of skinny fries. No problem getting different combo than listed on... More

The pork Snichtzel sandwich was very good and mussels delicious. Service was, learning the ropes, and failed to mention several of the highlight items, appertzers, sandwiches and entrees were out, despite being early on a Tuesday evening. They have an extensive choice of drafts, but the servers got all of ours mixed up, mixing ales, IPAs and wheatbeers, no harm... More

I'd never noticed Milltown right across Main Street from the Art Center and am so glad it was recommended as a cosy place for a weekend brunch well removed from the bustle of downtown Chapel Hill on graduation weekend. The ambiance is like a pub with vintage bottles lined up on a shelf at the ceiling. There is an amazing... More

Second trip to Milltown and I can't get enough of their beer selections......samples a coffee saison from Burial Brewing that was fantastic. Warm evening allowed us to sit outdoors on the patio where our family received excellent attention from the wait staff. Food selections are superb....small plates to share, good burgers, sandwiches, brats. Visit Milltown when you're near.

If you are looking for food probably should be a second thought. Local sausages should have been good but if you don't cook them properly then ......

Got the Mill house salad with chicken which was awesome, a terrific mix of greens and other ingredients. I also ordered a side of fries since that's what they are famous for and they were amazing, so good I didn't need ketchup or the sauce that came with it. I don't go to Carrboro often, but I'll make it a... More

I had fairly good moules frites on a very busy UNC/Duke basketball game night. I am not a beer drinker, but this place has a huge selection of lambics and other Belgian beers. Friendly and quick service

Middle of week visit for dinner brought us to Milltown before a ball game. Great hot spot for an excellent Milltown Burger....fresh meat, fresh toppings, and a side of thinly sliced fries were prepared well. Quick service. Amazed at how busy the place was on Tuesday night, but there seems to be good reason. Cubano sandwich was good as well.... More

Their beer menu is amazing! The menu is a nice variety of items you would want to have with great beer. We used to go a lot when they had the classic Belgian mussels permanently on the menu. They now vary it up. The original was so good especially with their delicious aioli. Definitely worth a try!

It's a great place to hang out with pals for a brew after work/class. It has more of a college bar feel, so it can be boisterous at times. Great beer selection and food.
