this place has hands down the best indian buffet in the triangle. don't like the price hike on the weekend for the same thing but its still worth a trip here. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

Nice selection of south indian vegetarian food. Could also order dosa from the menu if needed. Probably the best south indian vegetarian option in the Raleigh Cary area.

Was surprised at the quality & variety of South Indian food served in US. The Restaurant opens at 11 am & closes at 10 pm. .There is a good crowd especially on a Saturday. Was surprised to see over 60% of the customers were American. There is a Buffet Brunch with at least 25 dishes. Idly, Vada Dosa,Uthappa & Many rice... More

Good south Indian food; but never ever try to order anything other than typical south Indian items. we ordered fried rice from their "Indo-Chinese" menu and guess what it was a rice saute fried in few veggies and lot of oil, and was missing basic ingredients of typical Chinese fried rice. And another big joke is that they served it... More

the last time we went, it was a buffet. And this time it was a dinner. All items were fresh and there was a homemade feel to them. All food was 'mild' and that really helped our kiddo. So very nice on that aspect. udipi special spring dosa - ok, but not something I would order again puri bhaji -... More

This is the best representation of an authentic Indian eatery for the uninitiated. A multitude of Dosas, Uttapam, puri and Gobi Manchuria to name a few items are on the menu. It's all vegetarian, so westerners - there's no beer or wine, but you can substitute with mango lassi. It's closed on Mondays, but open all days other - including... More

I had been hearing about Udupi for a long time, and finally decided to try it with some vegetarian friends for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the lunch buffet and my friends could eat anything. Here is what I especially liked--the table in the center of the room with all the chutneys and seasonings away from the main buffet... More

My favorite place for a lunch buffet. Everything has always been delicious and full of flavor and spice. A little pricey, but worth it. It's cheaper on the weekdays than the weekends and the selection changes, but I have never been disappointed!

Arrived after 2 PM and was worried the buffet would not have a full assortment but was not the case. Fresh refills were brought out and several people arrived 30 minutes after we got there. Polite service and a good vegetarian offering.
