This place is amazing. It's a small place so make reservations if you want to get it. It's a favorite Chapel Hill spot for sure. I had the pork chops and they were awesome. Fun drink options at this place too.

We visited Lantern on recommendation from a friend while we were in Chapel Hill for a wedding. It seemed like the reviews here were a little mixed, but we loved everything about this place. We arrived a little early and they were super accommodating to...More

Had a family dinner here while visiting the campus. Everything we ordered was quite good including spring rolls, chicken and soup. Cocktails also quite nicely prepared.

This restaurant has an unusual menu. The menu changes often and they use a lot of local products. It is small but interment. Some entrees have unusual condiments. It was pretty good but not somewhere I would frequent.

This is the third time we have eaten at the Lantern and it's always a great experience. The food is delicious. It's a great twist on Asian dishes, the fish courses in particular are outstanding. And try the summer rolls, they are divine. Great ambiance...More

We went to Lantern with high expectations as it is highly rated. I took my wife and two daugthers as I eat at the highest quality restaurants. Why this restaurant gets such high review is baffling! It was a huge disappointment. The decor is subpar...More

Ate at the bar. Service was outstanding. Ordered salt and pepper shrimp and the crab and shrimp spring rolls. Shrimp were overcooked and to my taste the spring rolls had no crab in them. That being said, have always enjoyed Lantern and will be back,...More

Got the pork dumplings as an appetizer. So good I may order a few next time to be my whole meal! Entrees are excellent. Think it'd be hard to go wrong here.

Lantern is my go-to restaurant for celebrations and anniversaries. The food is always wonderful-- fresh, hot, and unique! The chicken with shrimp fried rice is always a great basic, but any of their meat options are cooked to perfection! Not to mention that the staff...More

Hello Paul, Sorry I just caught your question. It would probably be $20 per person entree, not counting appetizers or dessert. So $300 estimate without tax or tip.
