My family really likes Mama Dip's. It's a simple place where you are warmly welcomed and the food is consistently good. The fried chicken, chicken & dumplings and catfish gumbo are my personal favorites.

One of their employees--in uniform--came into our establishment and blatantly stole items off the counter. If this is the kind of person they will hire, who knows what they are doing to your food.

After sampling fried chicken at Mrs. Wilkes' in Savannah, I hoped I was in for a treat. Instead, the fried chicken was dry and tasteless. For what I paid for my quarter chicken meal, I was even more disappointed. The presentation was poor, my string...More

Chitterlings are a delicacy. The cow has the tripe and the pig has the chitterlings. The tripe and the chitterlings are the intestines. My mom washes them until they are squeaky clean and she can see straight thru them... More
