Had lunch here yesterday, unfortunately I ordered the wings platter with the bbq sauce, the wings were warm - ish, kicked myself when I started to eat them as I had just witnessed a lump of beef being cut which had just come out of the steamer, in a plastic bag obviously but hot none the less and juicy looking.... Most of the time we’re there for breakfast, sometimes it’s lunch but we’ve always been happy with the food. It’s one of the best airport restaurants anywhere.

We enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner during a 2 hour layover at CLT. Their brisket, chicken, pulled pork, collard greens and mac & cheese were as good as we've had at many BBQ restaurants. However, their corn bread was a little bit dry. One of the better airport dining experiences we've had!

We ate at Carolina Pit Barbecue during a layover in Charlotte. We both had the Smoked Turkey and it was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I wandered up to the counter of this Charlotte airport atrium restaraunt during a pitifully long layover in Charlotte. I wasn't that hungry, it wasn't even 11am, but I was curious. I tried the pulled pork platter with fried okra and baked beans. I added grean beans to the mix just because. The pulled port comes naked or sauced. I... More

I have eaten three times at this restaurant. The last time, I actually made sure that I had enough of a layover in the airport to be able to have lunch on the way to Texas! I told my colleagues to save up their appetite and we would be having BBQ in North Carolina on the way to Texas. I... More

Every time I pass thru the Charlotte Airport if I'm there for lunch or dinner, the only place I eat is Brookwood Farms. They have AMAZING BBQ and huge portions. My latest visit in December was no exception. I had the BBQ Brisket platter ($13.99). Comes with two sides (I chose green beans and mac and cheese). You also get... More

Most airport food places are over priced an at best passable. Not so for this place. Located in main terminal, their food is excellent and you get plenty. Had genuine BBQ brisket and even had a burnt end, along terrific BBQ beans, hush puppies and a fried pickle. There was plenty of everything on my plate. Next time you're in... More

I was stranded in Charlotte over night and slept in the airport. The next morning, I went walking to see what food options were available. I chose this restaurant over Burger King because I wanted something different. I ordered the sunrise platter, which was scrambled eggs, 3 strips of bacon, home fries, a biscuit, and an orange slice. This was... More

I've been flying thru the Charlotte airport for about 10 years or so and will always try to catch some BBQ here. For a food court restaurant at an airport, it's pretty good. The pulled pork sandwich is my favorite and I've never been disappointed. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly.
