I been hearing great things about Amelie's for quite awhile. Finally, my kids dragged me in, and I my resolve dissolved. My eclair was fabulous, and my wife's brownie was scrumptious. My daughter's carrot cake was to die for.

The coffee, French press, is great, soups and sandwiches are as well. Incredible selection of pastry. But you go for the ambience.....funky .,funky funky.

While the food, as well as the coffees. However, traffic jam when you go to order, or while you are waiting for your order. The atmosphere at the one Uptown is really awesome. Would be great for a date, but if you have a business meeting it is a bit loud.

Amelie's is like no other. From the killer pastries and specialty drinks to decor, it's in a league of its own. With multiple locations, my favorite is uptown at the corner of College and MLK. Lots of seating choices, and you can watch them make many of the pastries. They do offer lunch/dinner items--mostly soups, salads and sandwiches--but the sweets... More

My daughter and I always go to Amelie's for a special treat after she gets her hair cut. Amelie's has the best Salted Carmel Brownie! The Carmel just melts in your mouth! We look forward to this every month!

My husband and I stopped in for desert and a glass of wine after having dinner at a restaurant down the street. Very unique, eclectic vibe and incredible deserts! The macarons were amazing!

This is a wonderful place. Everything was so delicious, especially the Carmel brownie! The ham and Brie on Baguette was outstanding! Can't wait to go back. Good place for an event. I need to keep that in mind. Hint to my husband," great place to celebrate my birthday"!
