The Diamond is a "experience" rather than just a place to eat. You will see a wide variety of people in there or sitting on the small outside area. Don't let the out side put you off. The food is excellent and with a little...More

Great little diner in a walkable neighborhood. We loved everything we tried. Great hotdogs with chili and pimento cheese, delicious collards, southern slaw. Highly recommend.

The fried pickles here are a MUST, along with pretty much everything else on the menu. The wait staff is super helpful and friendly, and the vibe is unbeatable.

Great location in plaza midwood, and the history of the place is interesting. Those are the highlights. The seating was broken in many years ago, and it’s now just uncomfortable. The service was occasional and incidental. I found myself delighted, and more than a little...More
