Everything was delicious today. We haven't been here in a long time. My main complete was that the waitress of the table beside of us decided to sweep when those people got up. When you sweep it stirs up all kinds of things that float through the air. Other than this we had a very pleasant lunch.

Definitely one of my favorite go to spots when I'm in the mood for some comfort food. Everything is made with fresh ingredients from scratch, prices are great and the portions are very large. I always have some left over to take home for later.

My idea for breakfast is usually 7 am but Moose Cafe doesn't care what time you get there; they do it well. We got there sometime after 10 am and had our choice of tables. The one we selected was next to a window giving us a clear view of the surrounding area. Service was prompt and efficient. The food... More

This place does a good job for what it is. It can be crowded hectic and loud. Service can vary as staff are not professionals but locals. But, if you like comfort food, chicken and dumplings, cornbread, fried chicken etc. this place is for you. Do not care for their biscuits as they are too heavy and huge.

After waiting for 20 minutes for a table, we had a seat in the center of the restaurant. The whole room echoes and there were so many uncontrolled children there that the noise level was awful. We got up and left without eating.

Come hungry! Unless you haven't eaten in days, you might want split a meal. The servings are huge. One pancake, called a "Moosecake", covered a whole dinner plate. In addition, there was a slab of country ham, eggs, grits, stewed apples and biscuits. Everything is home made. Their roasted butternut is enough to bring me through the door. The only... More

Been coming here for years and every time we go, it seems to get worse. Our visit today was the worst yet. Poor service and the staff all seemed to be confused and unprofessional. Food was alright but nothing special. However I do like how they use locally sourced products in most of their menu items and being right next... More

Yummy fresh generous helpings of fruits and vegetables. No matter what you order, make sure to try the biscuits and applesauce brought to every table. Great fried chicken as well. Look for the all you can eat fish night.
