This is a terrific Greek place. It's a small family place with a lot of smiles from the servers. Food is fresh & homemade. That's why I think some reviewers are critical of the prices. You can't do food from scratch & do it really cheap & stay open. Anyway best fresh tiziak sauce ever. We each had a NY... More

While visiting family in Concord I had a day to myself. I decided to get some take out from Gateway to Athens. The staff was super friendly, and my order was ready to go in a few minutes. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend! And if you sit to eat that seem to have a great wine and... More

I've eaten Greek food in big cities - Chicago, NYC, and even Athens, Greece. The GYRO in this place is the best I have ever had. Every time I am in Concord, I get a few. The flavoring of the meat, plus pita, plus the sauce is just a mouthful of flavor. You will not be disappointed here. I love... More

We wanted something different than our usual take out, and gave Gateway to Athens a try. We had the gyros with the Greek rice. Delicious. The only criticism is that we would have loved more rice, which was flavorful and very tasty. Since we did not dine in, I cannot comment on the restaurant atmosphere.

We have been to this place with family. Food is average and over priced. This is the first time this happened to us. We ordered starters for lunch. The lady at counter charged us extra 3 dollars for splitting cost. Why would u charge a splitting cost to anyone. We told this to her,she removed the charge. But said we... More

I've eaten here for YEARS. The gyros are authentic and the best! They are always friendly and great quality food. Everything is also really well priced and you get a great amount of food!

We were in Charlotte for an alpaca show and searched google for Greek restaurants. This Concord location was a bit hard to find (located in a small shopping center) but the food was out of this world! The chef came out and offered us a small tasting tray to help us make our selections. We eventually ordered wonderful gyro platters... More

I had never tried a Greek place before, but this place was suggested to us, so we tried it. I have been back two more times now and will go again. The service is exceptional. It is definitely not a "cheap" place to eat, but neither is it way overpriced. My only complaint is that I have tried to get... More
