Took the family here for lunch. Service was friendly and quick. Burgers were tasty, beer was cold. A bit pricey for what you get. Regular fries were really good. Duck fat fries are crispy, delicious, but cut so thin and short they are annoying to...More

Walk on up to the register to order or grab a seat at the full service bar, either way you wont be disappointed. All of the beer served is brewed on site and the draft list in always on rotation. The burgers are incredible and...More

Was a nice place. Decent little beer selection. Great interior space and comfortable. The food was ok but nothing that would be worth bragging about.

My family and I were excited to be trying a new restaurant that we had never heard of before. The menu was simple hamburgers, hot dogs & salads. The food was very average. The hamburger wasn't very tasteful. The duck fries were hard and the regular...More

So glad to say I can recommend Burger Bach to all who ask where to go in Durham for a great, filling dinner meal that won't rob them blind - especially for being downtown! They have a wonderful variety of crafts, in which we've loved...More

had a very nice burger plate and a couple of tasters with my wife for an early-dinner. The place was already crowded and we sat at the bar. A good variety of craft beers brewed there were all very good. Usually I find a few...More

We stopped in for a burger before a Durham Bulls ballgame. The menu is limited to burgers but they are delicious. Service was friendly. Beer was creative and unique.

Although the atmosphere is great here, as is the beer, they cannot seem to do a decent alternative burger. I don't eat red meat but hang out with people that do so we often end up here. I've tried 3 different vegetarian options and each...More

I'm not a big burger guy, unless I am cooking them. The burger I got was topped with a sweet potato marmalade combined with bacon, cheese and fresh jalapeno. Hands down the best burger I have ever eaten, including my own. The onion loaf and...More

The funny thing is, I'm trying to eat fewer burgers and hot dogs. Bull City Burger and Brewery doesn't make that goal any easier. I've actually arrived here having already eaten just so I can sample their latest on-premise brews. They change up their beer...More

Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the... We are Durham's oldest brewpub and THE local pasture-raised classic beef burger of Durham.
